    How do you celebrate 9/11(TM)?

9/11(TM) is on it's way and here in our household we always hold a great celebration. This is of course to celebrate the day that Americans were united in pride and hatred for brown-skinned people with funny accents. It was arguably the greatest day in American history. The other day I was talking to my lawyer (who's from New York, and probably a Joo). I asked "Are you doing anything for 9/11(TM)?" He said that rememberances of tragic events should be quiet and dignified and he may pause briefly in rememberance, but otherwise continue with life as usual. What an un-American asshole piece of joo trash. Jew Yorkers just don't appreciate the importance of 9/11(TM) the way Real Americans(TM) do. Did you know not a single New Yorker has ever released a country album about bombing one of them ay-rab countries over there someplace? While New Yorkers were still moping around After 9/11(TM), attending funerals and identifying body parts, true patriots like Toby Keith, Darryl Worley and Alan Jackson headed into the recording studio to confront the islamistaniacs by singing about putting a boot in someones as (in a non-gay way, of course). But anyway, 9/11(TM) is also important because it's the day before George W. Bush (PBUH) became president. Some liberal counter-historians like to claim that Bush was already president and thus should share some of the blame, but true patriots know better.

    Nauseating

I celebrate by going to an A-rob convenience store (not hard to find one!) and stand at the head of the line, blocking traffic, while not buying anything, and yelling "God Bless America!" while glaring at all the condom-ents and Lottery Tickets that are so prominently displayed up-front

It's sad whenever a Saved is lost, and I knew one quite holy man who died on that day.

However, I take solace knowing his death enabled America to, with glory and triumph, invade and conquer Afghanistan, Iraq, and soon (God willing,) Pakistan.

Praise Jesus Christ we live in America.

I usually pull out the first card I ever made or gave to Pastor Zeke and reflect on the happy memories of our love story.

When I think of all the innocents who died it is my beleif that they would want us not to be sad, but to be happy with our lives at present and to pray for those having a tough time in Iraq and Afghanistan as a result.

Peacefully Hindu, the dead from that event don't care if we are sad or not. Either they are in Heaven, and no longer care of Earthly matters, or, more than likely, are languishing for eternity in Hell.

Philosophical question then, if you were to die tomorrow and somehow had knowledge of this, would you want people to be distraught for years to come, or be happy and celebrate your life's acheivements?

I would know they would appreciate my life, but after death I wouldn't care, as I will sit at the side of the Lord! Will that bloated Asian you worship save you from eternal damnation?

Perhaps not. But what you speak is true in that our lives will mostly be remembered by the impact we had upon the lives of others, and it is natural to want to leave those behind us with happy memories.

You care too much of what others think, and nothing of what God thinks. Repent this now, or I assure you, a harsh penance will be meted out.

Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? - Matthew 6:25

I don't recognize "9/11". To me it's September the Eleventh. If you want to condense stuff, tell me Merry 12/25.

Respectfully, Pastor, is Our Matthew painting the "faith" component of Godly living a bit broadly here?
