Sorry, but I assumed that papers were supposed to be objective. Whenever I read an article, I'm interested in the subject matter, not the personal opinion of the writer. This might be some feedback to take into account: the observer should not interfere with that which is being observed. Otherwise you should say that you are writing a paper about how you confront True Christians.

Personally, I find it somewhat difficult to speak openly and without reservation to someone who seems to think I'm crazy and abusive.

If the women here don't feel oppressed, then what's the problem? True Christian women get exactly the treatment that God Himself teaches. If you cannot trust God, whom can you trust? True Christian men and woman know what and where their reward will be. Heaven.

But look at it this way: what if someone accuses you of oppressing your wife because you don't let her have sex with other men? Won't you say "I'm NOT oppressing her, she doesn't WANT to have sex with other men"? And won't your wife say "I don't feel limited at all, I love my husband?" True Christian women love God. The rest follows from there.

Maybe there are some Christian sects where women are being oppressed, but they don't follow the KJV 1611 Bible and won't go to Heaven.

Finally, I would like to leave you with this thought: if someone tells you that it's inconvenient to her that you're alive, would you find it oppressive if the law allows for her to have you murdered?

Oh no, I have no qualms at all admitting what I wish could be different.

I wish that more so-called Christians would read the Bible in it's entirety, so that they may understand the true nature of God.

I wish that atheists and other such non-believers would stop comparing the true nature of God to that of a human psychopath, as it is very difficult to convince them that every act of God in the Bible -- no matter how seemingly cruel -- is holy, simply because He did it.

I wish that the LORD deemed women equal to men, as I find it very hard on my old feet to stand at the back of the church on Sundays, due to all the men -- both young and old -- getting all the good seats! The church I attend in New Zealand is a very small building, you see.

However, wishing is useless, son. As long as the Word of God exists, these things will remain the same.

Caboose, like I said in another thread: I respect your research, but at the same time you yourself express quite a bit of bias. You give off the strong impression that you see us as backwards and that our women are supressed like muslim women.

So it seems you already have your opinion ready. That's not the objective attitude one would expect from an honest observer.

If you are honestly interested in researching the Bible and our Church, then please do so, but then don't share your own opinion. People who read your paper aren't interested in how you feel about the Bible. Let them make up their own minds. Don't treat your readers like children.

I had a reply from a muslim woman who hated it, she followed her husband because of fears that he'd kill/seriously hurt her, she put alot of trust in me, and i stood by my word, not a thing was mentioned on the forums.

Yes the "Internet" was an American invention. It was originally used as a method of communication by the US government. A British scientist saw the potential and took it and implemented it world wide.

We do not persecute women! Who told you we did? Women are vital for making a New Generation of Godly Christian Soldiers. We do, however, follow Christian guidelines for treating women.

In a modern day and age when a woman can be the head of a company just as much as a man, how is it that your teachings persicute women still.

You must understand, when God created the woman, He had a Purpose for her. He gave us guidelines so that the woman could fulfill her Purpose. To me, allowing women to be the head of a company is real persecution of a woman, as you take away her femininity by letting her do the work of a man.

I believe in Jesus because rationality and common sense do not allow otherwise.

Luke, I recommend you ask your school to teach you grammar and spelling instead of comparative theology, it will be far more useful to you as it will likely cut down on Jihads due to misunderstandings.
