The discussion was about the Greek word aionion, which was used frequently in the Bible and was translated with "eternal" in the KJV. Mr. Millennium's viewpoint was that that was wrong, because this word could mean "until the eons/eonian times," which would denote something which had an ending. So it could mean either eternal or temporal.

However, I've showed that in each and every case where this word was used as an adjective (aside from punishment), it is applied to something which was generally considered to be eternal, like God, God's Reign and the Afterlife. Therefore, the Biblical writers apparently used this word to mean "eternal" as well in the case of punishment.

Mr. Millennium, you still have to rebuke this point. If you want to, please do it in the original thread. If you choose not to, just accept that you are wrong about this, and stop whining.
