Hello, followers of the Lord! My name is Marianne and I have been browsing this forum for a while in order to try to live as a true Christian. But I have discovered a problem and I needed to create an account to ask you about this.

I have been married for 30 years and I now have 5 wonderful children (2 of them are adults). I am beyond the age when I can have sex to create new followers, but I still make love to my husband quite often.

After all these years, I still love him to no end, and I feel extremely close to him. Making love is a way to show this. I say sexual intercourse needs to have been created by God simply because it's a wonderful thing when it's done the right way (within marriage, Missionary position). After visiting this forum for a while, it appears as if the general opinion is that making love is a bad thing that must be minimized! Is it really that way?

Marianne, when you're doing these things with your husband, are you thinking of Jesus, or of your husband?

If you're doing something purely for your and your husband's enjoyment instead of as service to God, then it is sinful, whether it is having relations or drinking a tasty glass of lemonade.

If you are infertile, you should consider running off to allow your husband to remarry an undamaged woman. My first two wives fell down a well.

Your obsession with porn is getting the better of you. To make sure you stop staring at porn you now have to poke your own eyes out! The Bible is very clear on that: Mark 9:47 "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire". Since you can still see porn with one eye, you will have to poke both of them out.

You are probably also an obsessive compulsive masturbator. The Bible is very clear on what you have to do about that. You have to rent a chainsaw and remove your hand! Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched". To be on the safe side you might want to remove both hands.
