The Cincinnati office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations' Ohio chapter (CAIR-Ohio) today called on a local radio station to reprimand a talk show host who claimed that the goal of Islam is "sex with children for eternity."

Yesterday, WLW-AM host Bill "Willie" Cunningham said on air: "The great war of this generation's time is the war against Islamic fascists. . .They do not live for life, they live for death. Only through death can they believe they can be with those 72 virgins in heaven and have sex with children for eternity, which is the goal of that religion."

I, for one, am glad that there's SOMEONE out there speaking for people like me, The Common Man.

Too often, the majority of Americans like me are forgotten in our discussions of issues facing our nation. So although I'm fairly typical, I am usually ignored-- if not marginalized or actively oppressed, thanks to the liberal media and the radical left-wing blogosphere.

I'm more or less a typical American. I'm Christian, 62 years old, White, married, Republican, live in Iowa, own my own business, and attend church an average of 35 hours a week. I wholeheartedly support free trade, the War in Iraq, President George W. Bush, and the systematic extermination of illegal aliens. My hobbies include slave-trading, collecting automatic weapons, seeing how long I can hold my hand over a flame, and refining my enemies list. See? A typical American.

The mother of a 14-year-old who authorities say had a cache of guns, knives and explosive devices in his bedroom for a possible school attack was charged Friday with buying her son three weapons.

Michele Cossey bought her home-schooled son a .22-caliber handgun, a .22-caliber rifle and a 9 mm semiautomatic rifle, authorities said.

CBS News correspondent Maggie Rodriguez (Gee, big surprize, a liberal-biased article coming from a wetback) reported that officials knew the young suspect's motive: he felt bullied by the students at Plymouth Whitemarsh. But the plot for revenge was foiled when the young man tried to seek out an accomplice who led police to the suspect's house and a disturbing arsenal.

Acting on a tip from a high school student and his father, police on Wednesday found the rifle, about 30 air-powered guns, swords, knives, a bomb-making book, videos of the 1999 Columbine attack in Colorado and violence-filled notebooks in the boy's bedroom, Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr. said.

Cossey, 46, of Plymouth Meeting, bought the rifle, which had a laser scope, at a gun show on Sept. 23 and provided police with a receipt, investigators said in court papers. The teenager said the two .22-caliber weapons were stored at a friend's house.

The teen was ordered Friday to remain in juvenile detention.

His mother was charged with unlawful transfer of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a minor, corruption of a minor, endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Jailer Pleads Guilty in Bible Assault

MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — A Blue Earth County jailer who hit a prisoner with a Bible in February has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fifth-degree assault.
Under the plea agreement, two gross misdemeanor charges of mistreatment of a confined person and misconduct by a public officer filed against James Lee Sheppard, 6, were dismissed.
A jail surveillance video showed part of the February assault, which was investigated by police after Sheppard reported the incident.
The investigating officer said the video showed Sheppard hitting the inmate with a book before grabbing him by the throat and slamming him against a set of steel bars.
According to the criminal complaint, the inmate said he was reading his Bible when Sheppard took it from him and hit him with it.

Insanity Plea Planned in Microwaved Baby

GALVESTON, Texas (AP) -- The 19-year-old man accused of putting his 2-month-old daughter in a microwave, causing burns to her face and hand, was insane at the time of the incident, his lawyer said Friday.

"This kid has voices talking to him, all kinds of other issues," said attorney Sam Cammack III, who filed notice Wednesday in state district court of the intent to plead insanity in the case.

Joshua Maldin of Arkansas is accused of putting his infant daughter in a hotel room microwave for 10 to 20 seconds. The child suffered third-degree burns to the left side of her face and left hand.

Mauldin faces a charge of injury to a child, causing serious bodily harm. The charge carries a possible prison term of five to 99 years, as well as a fine of up to $10,000.

At the time of the May 10 incident, Mauldin and his wife were moving to Galveston, where he planned to become a preacher. According to a police report, Mauldin said God told him to move to Galveston.

"Josh Mauldin is not an evil person who would ever hurt his child under normal circumstances," Cammack said. "He's a 19-year-old kid who has mental issues."

Under Texas law, a person can be found not guilty by reason of insanity if a jury finds the defendant did not know that his or her actions were wrong.

If Cammack's motion is approved, a professor of psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch would evaluate Mauldin within the next 30 days. Prosecutors may also appoint a psychiatrist to examine Mauldin.

The girl is currently in the custody of relatives. Mauldin and his wife are not allowed to contact them, but Cammack said his client does not plan to relinquish his parental rights.

God regularily speaks to people, and asks them to do things, including offering their children as a burnt offering. Perhaps using a microwave to burn your offering is anunorthodox way of doing things, but it's not a sin.

Nebraska School District Bans Christian Group After Bobbing for Live Goldfish

LINCOLN, Neb. — A Christian student group's latest attempt to show middle school students how fun the group could be was too much for school administrators to swallow.

Last week the Campus Life group allowed students to bob for live goldfish. Two students and one Campus Life volunteer swallowed fish.

No student was harmed or forced to participate, but some parents complained, and district officials weren't pleased.

"We just felt like that type of action was distracting to the students and interfered with the learning process," Virgil Horne, assistant to the superintendent, told the Lincoln Journal Star.

So Campus Life will be allowed to meet only at Lincoln's Scott Middle School one more time this school year. The group's executive director, Bryan Carlson, said he would tell students the news at Wednesday's meeting.

Carlson said the goldfish bobbing was designed to foster fellowship among the roughly 100 students who regularly attend. At previous meetings, races, relays and competitive eating contests have been used for that purpose.

The opening fun activities were always followed by sermons and small group discussions that Carlson said were the point of the meetings.

Its those God-forsaken demons at PETA behind this, I'm sure. They want to grant special rights to dogs, fish and cockroaches.

Financial Woes Force Church To Sell Private Jet

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) ― Dwindling donations to the Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park have prompted its high-profile pastor, Mac Hammond, to put his private business jet on the market.

Church spokesman the Rev. Brian Sullivan says Living Word has also cut its hourlong Sunday morning television broadcast to 30 minutes to save money.

He says the church has fallen $40,000 to $70,000 short of its weekly budget in recent weeks. Sullivan says the church is adjusting its budget accordingly.

Sullivan says the church's problems could be a combination of the recession and the recent bad publicity about churches preaching the "Prosperity Gospel."

The prosperity churches are based on the idea that success in business or personal life is evidence of God's love.

Late last year, the U.S. Senate asked six churches to submit financial documents because of complaints about the lavish lifestyles of their ministers. Hammond was not among them.

Sullivan says the church is aggressively marketing the jet, and that the money raised from the sale would be reinvested in the ministry.

Anyway, the rest of the details in the caption are correct: as you can clearly see, the prisoners are handcuffed, in trucks, and on parade, just like the caption says. So one type of gook was mistaken for another type of gook, maybe if we could smell pictures, we would know who is who by whether they stink of curry or rotting fish/cooked cats.

Wife of founder of Ozarks Minutemen pleads guilty to fake rape claim

SPRINGFIELD | The wife of a founder of the Ozarks Minutemen has pleaded guilty to lying about being raped and shot by three Hispanic men.
Angela D. Wilburn, 44, appeared in Greene County Associate Circuit Court on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to making a false report, a class B misdemeanor. Wilburn is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 3. She could face up to six months in prison and a $500 fine.

Wilburn is the wife of Brian Wilburn, who helped form the Ozarks Minutemen. She was charged with the crime in December, after calling 911 reporting someone had shot her.

Angela Wilburn told investigators that three Hispanic men broke into her mobile home and that one of the men sexually assaulted her in the hallway, then shot her in the knee with a handgun.

She soon retracted her story and said she heard a noise, and grabbed her husband’s gun. She told police the gun went off as she reached for a flashlight.

By the time Angela Wilburn made the admission, Greene County deputies had already spent more than 100 man-hours investigating the fictitious attack.

The sheriff’s department said in December it would seek restitution from Angela Wilburn for the wasted time. Such repayment could be part of her sentence, said Greene County Chief Deputy Jim Arnott.

Restitution? What about restitution from the hispanics, who are such walking time-bombs of rape and knee-shooting? She was telling the truth: brown people rape and shoot almost every white woman in their path, even if her claim that they raped and shot her was mistaken, most likely due to failed intel. The claim that she "lied" is nothing but slander. Misled, maybe, the information she delivered may have been flawed, but she did not lie.
