Davy, a good friend from church, strong in his faith, and Godly in his word and deed, literally floored me with a theological question today at our Men's Prayer Breakfast.
He said that even if he goes to heaven when he dies, he will beseech the Lord to send him to Hell to spread God's Holy Word, even in the very depths of that gruesome fiery pit.
I was stunned. I did not want to discourage his amazing Faith, but I doubt this would be allowed. I told Davy that it would be hopeless to minister to the fallen in Hell, they have already been adjudged and condemned. Davy said it would not be hopeless, as he would bring hope to Hell, and even if he never saved one fallen heart, it would be his thanksgiving unto the Lord to try.
Well, he stumped me. I admire his steadfast faith, but turning down his eternal reward in Heaven to minister in Hell, I dunno. . . .
Does anyone here have any wise counsel for my friend ??

at as he boots them down the trash chute to eternal damnation. Based on that, once you are in Hell, that is it. There is no more chances to 'turn things around'. That is why God offers free will.
We have the choice during these few years to live by His Word©. This is decision time folks. Sort of like saying "I do' only with much greater significance.
