    Should we blow up the Moon?

    Despite the liberal media telling us over and over that Christians and Mohammedans "pray to the same God," all True Christians™ know that the cult of Islam is based on worship of the Moon. It was created by the Roman Catholic Church, after all—and who knows less about God than those boy-buggering wannabe cannibals?

    So, I'm wondering what would happen if we destroyed the Moon with nuclear weapons. Would Islam also cease to exist, thus making the second-biggest threat to world peace (after same-sex marriage) vanish? Obviously I'm not suggesting that we send a "spaceship" to the Moon, drill a tunnel into its core, and drop a bomb down there like Godly Republican actor Bruce Willis did in that movie. The Moon is not a three-dimensional object, and any craft attempting to reach it would be dashed to pieces when it collided with the firmament. The best solution would be to launch a barrage of tactical ICBMs from a base on Earth—it would be the equivalent of throwing a rock at a decorative plate hanging from the wall.

    What would be the result of this? I don't think God would be too angry at us for destroying part of the Heavens; after all, He could just make a new Moon once Islam's culture dried up. It would spare us the trouble of systematically exterminating the world's Mohammedan population, allowing us to use our atomic arsenal on other targets like gay bars and abortion clinics. The only problem I can see possibly arising is the martyr effect: if their object of worship is destroyed, the dune coons might get even more angry at us than they were before.

    Maybe one of our theologians would understand this better.

    WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! Go read GENESIS 1 1-14! The moon is created by GOD! What must be in your colon that you would even CONSIDER shooting at it?!?!?!?

    GOD has no problem killing everyone on earth, or having us do it in His name, but taking aim at one of his OTHER creations is HERESY!

          Congratulations, Virginia, I'd say you'd have to take the prize for creating the silliest post I've ever seen on this forum (that was not made by a l33t-speaking teen).

          Blow up the moon. Sheesh!

            Don't forget that Neil Armstrong placed Old Glory on that Moon back in July of 1969. That means that the Moon has been United States property for nearly four decades.
            I personally think they should drill it for oil and resources.

            Space oil is bound to be better than towelhead oil as far as running in my tractors.

              What is all of this?
              The moon is nothing but a light in the sky so why attack it?
              God made it to give us some light at night, so why should we destroy the night-lamp He gave us?

              And God made two great lights;
              The greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night:
              He made the stars also.
              Genesis 1:16

                Re: Should we blow up the Moon?

                Excuse me! EXCUSE ME!

                If I could please provide a voice of reason here before everything gets too heated up...

                Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

                Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

                Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.

                Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

                We obviously can't blow up the moon, as the Bible clearly prophesies its continued existence, and as we all know, Biblical prophesy has a 100% success rate. So even if somebody tries, they are doomed to failure.

                      According to our resident furry emo queer, the blood of sand negroes can be transformed into a usable fuel. I vote we work on investigating that further.
                      O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

                        Hmmm... blowing up the moon.... not really a good idea....

                        1. The moon affects the tides and other things on the earth. Blowing it up would affect the earth too.

                        2. You would need a lot of nuclear weapons and also access to them and i don't think you have that. (Well I'm guessing you don't but you could i suppose....)
