What does God's Word say about babies going to Hell? Open our bibles to Romans 9 "21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:". Last I checked babies resemble little vessels of wrath.

Why don't you look at the last part:
I ORDAINED THEE A PROPHET UNTO THE NATIONS.
So is everyone ordained a prophet unto the nations?
Certainly NOT.

God is speaking to ONE person here, not in general, not about everyone.
This however, is a general statement, Praise God!
How then can man be justified with God?
Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
Job 25:4

Just a thought - when Augustine said unsaved babies went to Hell, was he wrong or right? Did God somehow change His mind about what to do with unsaved babies at some point between Augustine's times and today?

Babies are born with the tendancies of demons. They scream, flail, defecate and urinate all over themselves. Essentially they lack basic self- control. It takes years to get the child to a position where they gain control, through the teachings of the Bible(tm), a firm hand, and lots of guidance from elders. I can't see any child under the age of 8 being at a level of understanding to really know who Jesus is and accept him. This means they go straight to hell.

Little children are NOT babies. They are little children meaning older than toddlers. Certainly old enough for their parents to have explained the eternal horrors of Hell and for the child to have accepted Jesus in a binding agreement and profession of faith in the Lord Almighty via a real Baptism in a real river or stream sanctified by a real Pastor. I'm guessing 5 years old. You can't lay hands on an unborn baby unless you are advocating abortion.

God knows all people before they are born because He's God and He knows everything centuries before it happens.
Jesus Christ alone was born completely sin free and pure as the whitest snow. Thats how His blood can actually be used to remove the stain of sin.
