    Cripple Question

Hey all, I have been reading the forums for the past few days. I am not as right wing as some of you but I generally do agree with the points being made on this forum. One thing that concerns me however is the pure hatred some of you feel towards cripples. This point hits home for me, as I have a aunt that is a cripple. I have 3 questions to try and gain more clarity on the matter of cripples.

Q1) My aunt (who is a Christian) was struck by a train shortly after she turned 42. The guard rails malfunctioned and as a result her car was demolished with her in it as she drove over the tracks. She was paralyzed from the waist down, and was awarded $1.2 million in a suite against the company at fault. It is 12 years since the accident and my aunt is still heavily involved with her church. I am wondering if you believe she is still able to be saved as a Christian, or if her soul was damned to hell the moment the train struck her. Also, if she was a member of your church before the accident, would you let her continue to attend after?

Q2) A war breaks out. America is involved and soldiers are being shipped out to fight. A son of a member at your church decides to answer the call and fight to defend the USA. Some time later his leg is blown off in a conflict and he is sent home with a purple heart. He tries to enter the doors to your church in a wheel chair. Do you let him in? Do those of you who loved him with the love of the Lord, and admired his choice to serve his country, now find him disgusting and a bane on society?

Q3) What level of disability do you consider to be a cripple? Is a mentally retarded person a cripple? If so, how about a slow learner? At what point on the IQ scale does a person become a cripple, and condemned to hell? How about physically? Is a person with no legs a cripple? How about a person missing only one arm, or perhaps a hand? Is a wheel chair acceptable for old age, but not an amputee? Or maybe just a cane?

I realize you guys are passionate about what you believe, and I agree with a decent amount of the points being made on this forum, but I simply do not see how any line can be drawn or insight gained from the bible, regarding when to love or hate someone based on their ability or inability to be self sufficient. Just sayin.

Thanks for those of you who take the time to answer this question!

Why don't you properly introduce yourself before ranting on about cripples?

If you pass on Pastor Ezekiel's email address to your lovely Aunt they could reach some kind of agreement with regards her salvation as a Landover Baptist.
      2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

        Re: Cripple Question

Jesus decides who lives, who dies, who gets sick or crippled up. If you were a Christian, you'd know that.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

          Re: Cripple Question

David, cripples are Gods way of making it easy for everyone to readily identify God Mockers. Your ant must of done something really terrible like whored herself out to a football team. If she did nothing wrong (You will need proof, women always lie) then perhaps it is something someone else did. For example, do you masturbate or have impure thoughts about her? Do you peek in the shower when she is all soaped up? Do you root about in her underwear drawer, 'using' her enormous panties?

That answers your first and second question.

Regarding your third one, anyone with an imperfection (meaning they are no longer modeled after God's perfection) or who is an idiot.
God was nailed to a cross, dead and buried. He walked it off, got back up on His two feet and Saved us all. If he can do it, so can your ant. Tell her to stop being a sponge on society. She should donate that $1.2 mil to the Pastors Special Relief fund.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I just recently read how cripples are causing trouble to security.

I don't think anyone here hates cripples, they're just not allowed in the congregation. There's another thread on here that explains it all.

Q1) My aunt (who is a Christian) was struck by a train shortly after she turned 42. The guard rails malfunctioned and as a result her car was demolished with her in it as she drove over the tracks. Well I'm pretty sure that your aunt is a false Christian and therefore not under the protection of Jesus. As for the saved part, I'm not a pastor, but I believe that as long as she has her mental faculties, she can still be saved. She's just not allowed in the congregation. She can stay home and watch the pastors on TV.

Is he able to climb the stairs? No. So how exactly would he get into the church?

Q3) What level of disability do you consider to be a cripple? Is a mentally retarded person a cripple? If so, how about a slow learner? At what point on the IQ scale does a person become a cripple, and condemned to hell? How about physically? Is a person with no legs a cripple? I believe sickular law states that 80 is the IQ cut off point for mental retardation. Again, crippled is crippled.
