    Hello Smiley,

Post both scriptures (from the KJV1611 of course) and please explain why you are confused for us.

I ask as it is YOUR personal confusion here and we are not to know what your quandary is until you elaborate.

    Then we can discuss.

    Thank you

    YIC,

    Mrs.P.Wintersnow.

      Dear friend:

Please explain why you think that those passages say opposing things. Also, when you cite Bible passages, especially of such length, it helps if you quote them in full. Thanks.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

It's very simple, Smiley. Take, as an example of a blemished person, a retard. That retard may be able to receive forgiveness, if it believes in Jesus' sacrifice and is baptised as an adult, but that doesn't mean God wants that retard assuming he is an equal with everyone else. That would be profane. That's like letting a murderer go kill innocent people just because Jesus died on the cross.

Please explain why it's opposing. Interesting that you left our Leviticus 21:17....

          Let's take a peek:

Lev. 21:17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

Lev. 21:18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

Lev. 21:21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

So it's pretty clear that this rule applies to the seed of Aaron, not all people.

          Then from John:

John 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Apparently, this specific individual was not of the seed of Aaron.

Additionally, we can safely assume that Jesus Christ was a "little" more aware of the God's Will than the average person

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
          Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.
