Just because you wear yours all the time does not mean everyone else does, I think it is more a problem with his antipsychotic medication.

Christian_Rover, I'm sure that you're a good person and that you genuinely believe that you talk with the Lord. Even so, and as much as I hate to agree with the Landover Baptists, I think that they have the better argument here.

How do you know that you are talking with the Lord and not just experiencing an auditory hallucination? Many people "hear voices," and as the Landover Baptists have pointed out correctly, they can't all be right. How do you know you're right and they're wrong? They can cherry-pick the same Bible verse that you can.

It's not Scripture that they find a laughing matter. As even another homer has pointed out to you, Scripture doesn't prove that the voice yammering away in your head is that of God. In fact, it proves the opposite.

God does not take kindly to being mocked.

I agree completely, and unless you repent, you'll find out the hard way just how true that is.
