Now we know when Jesus is speaking because Jesus has given us this wonderful Book that tells us what he thinks. So if someone comes to us and says the LORD told me homosexualism is okay, all we have to do is look up what the Bible says. If the Bible says differently, you are either a liar or being lied to by Satan whom you have mistaken for the Angel of light.

Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

1st Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever.

When even the atheists that lurk this board are telling you that you're wrong, you have to wonder exactly where your message is coming from. What makes you so special that God would speak to you? Are you one of the prophets of old? Are you one of the apostles? Or are you a man who is disparately trying to convince himself that his lifestyle is not sinful? Should we believe a person who says God sent him to kill people (although that is more in line with the Bible). Should we believe a Christian Chicken raper that all of the stuff against bestiality (and there is less condemning bestiality than there is condemning homosexuality) is mistranslated? I went to the site you posted to at the beginning. I saw bright lights and flashing sales pitch and absolutely nothing to back it up. Well I can find books that tell me God was an alien, God isn't real, and God is a flying spaghetti monster. Just because it's written in a book doesn't make it right. The Bible has withstood 2,000 years of scrutiny and is still standing.
I'm afraid we aren't going to agree on this, are we? I have said before that arch-fundies like yourselves cherry-pick scripture as much as I do. The difference is I am honest about that.

Psalm 46:10 tells us to be still, and know that He is God. So when I hear that still, small voice speak to me, I know it is Him. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us (see Matt. 1:23). That means that Jesus Christ is with me always, and that He is present within me.

God tells His people that they shall know one another by their fruits. And what are these fruits? Galatians 5 has the answer: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Unfortunately I see very little fruit among the posters on this forum. I see a lot of anger, a lot of intolerance and a lot of hatred towards minorities such as gay people and black people.

This leads me to the conclusion that the vast majority of you are actually in a religion about Christ, but are without Christ in your hearts. You have no god, and that is why you have no peace in your hearts.

I will pray that you come to know God, and know peace!
After all the complaining you did about the icons, it's good to see you meeting us halfway and posting your picture. You look exactly like what I thought. Thank you!

    Guys,

You've got it all the wrong way around. Get to know Jesus FIRST, then - and only then - open the Bible. Read it prayerfully, AFTER having got to know Jesus, and it can be a wonderful aid to getting to know the Lord.

But you can't do things the other way around - Bible first, Jesus second. That way you end up with a very skewed view of Christianity, and you don't get to know the Lord personally.
You really do have issues with reading comprehension, don't you. Can you point out exactly where I called you a chicken raper? I said there is less in the Bible condemning a chicken raper than there is condemning homosexuals.

I had an uncle who said the Lord talked to him. He ended up killing his family one night. God speaks to us through the bible and through our Christian works not via some psychotic cell phone in the head. If you hear voices, it is Satan on the line!!

I know you're going to ignore me as you have the typical fear of women which probably drove you to homosexuality in the first place.

However I am going to post this because I know others will read it.

How do we know you are a false prophet? Because the Bible tells us so.

    Matthew 7: 21-23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    Matthew 24: v 4-5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

You have claimed that you have a pipeline to God himself, that is basically claiming that you are the Christ. It's disgusting blasphemy.

    Acts 20:28-31
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

    Galatians 1: 8-10
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

    1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Now how exactly did you try your spirit? It told you what you wanted to hear? Or it told you what God has always said.

    2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

    2 Peter 2:18
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

    2 Corinthians 11:13-15
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

    2 Timothy 3:1-7
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Realy, if this isn't you to a T, I don't know what is.
    2 Timothy 4:2-5
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."

So basically after the KJV1611 Bible has stood the test of time for 400 years, you come along and tell us it's wrong because you don't want to believe it. When did Paul write these words? 2,000 years ago? He warned us against the likes of you.

Like you have done? You think it's okay to be a sodomite even though the Bible says the opposite.

Who is twisting the Word of God?

No, son. That spirit you are listening to isn't holy. Those are the some powerful demons that have a grip on you.

That makes a lot of sense. Don't read Christianity's entire basis to become a Christian.

Does it hurt to be as willfully ignorant as you are or is it truly bliss?

He is going to teach me to twist scripture into things the Bible doesn't say?

No thanks. I am already perfectly happy actually following what the Bible says.

I don't say this likely to people, but I think I need to say it now. You must be born again. Almighty God is intolerant of all religions, except that which He has instituted in His Son, Christ Jesus. You must drop your preconceptions of the Lord, and leave behind what you think you know about Him. Then repent, and ask Him into your life, and He will teach you how to use His Word. So we should believe the voices in your head over the Word that God left for us? Son, the devil is playing tricks on you. You can't reconcile your choosing the homosexual deathstyle with the Bible, so the Bible must be wrong? You are following a false Christ that exists only in your deluded mind.

    Proverbs 30:5-6
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

You're going to have a lot of explaining to do on Judgment Day, son. And I assure you, Jesus will be much less patient with you than we have been.

How to Post Like Christian Rover
    1. Start a new topic.
    2. Make a claim that goes against established True Christianity(tm).
    3. When Bible verses are presented to you that show you are wrong, ignore them or say that they are no longer applicable. (Of course, the Bible verses that support your argument are completely valid and right!)
    4. Get demolished further by True Christians(tm) who know more about the Bible than you do.
    5. Don't admit your loss. Ignore and sidestep the issue altogether.
    6. Go back to Rule #1.
