The biggest issue I have with Springsteen is, on the concert DVD 'Live in Dublin' he appears to be mean to his band members and the crowd most of the time, though there are a few songs where he seems to rise above it and hit a high note, spiritually as well as (less important) vocally, he even sings some songs about Jesus, like 'This little light of mine', but it seems weird when he is giving hateful looks to his fellow band members and acting all tense like he's got hate in him ..

Sometimes he's amazing, but more often he is trashy.. at least what I've seen of him from live DVD's

Still he is a very gifted musician, a genius within his own genre, just too bad he can't keep up the spirit in his songs that he has when he writes them down..

Maybe I'm wrong about all this, but I don't think it is far off

Good Lord. That's a "Phender" (code word for Tallywhacker) Telecaster.

Tele = "far", and caster = "catcher". Apparently, you can pick up homers from as far as the 10th row in the audience without "losing your grip" or "dropping your pick".

The girl behind him is wearing a headscarf... we should have seen it there and then!

Amen! Very compelling testimony, Rev. J.O! I'm not entirely aware of "Popular Music," and all that it entails; but enough was enough, for me, the moment I saw him adorning the Holy Implement of God's Mercy - The Crucifix!


Parading around as one of God's elect, as though True Christians™ can't see past his mocking jewelry, and his black-and-white photos. All a True Christian™ needs to do is 1). Remove his Crucifix, 2). Unbutton his Shirt, 3). Find the negative for the above picture, and print it in color.

I've taken the liberty upon myself, to do this; and the results are nothing short of predictable:

Springsteen is a philandering, womanizing, egotistical, selfish, pretentious, sexually deranged, untrustworthy, and evil sinner and I'm glad I am not anything like him. All his lyrics glorify Satan in one way or another and I know for a fact that tens of thousands of teenagers have committed suicide or murdered others after listening to Springsteen's music. They call him "The Boss" when we all know the REAL Boss is Jesus Christ! He has created a cult of self-worship and he takes advantage of his followers by bedding younger, redheaded women. What a sick, sick man.
