    Bible based video game?

I spent some time recently at my brother's house and watched his three kids playing video games. I was horrified to see the type of games they were playing. You may not believe this, but they were hunting each other and either shooting one another with machine guns or clubbing each other with big clubs! Well, after praying for a solution for several hours, Jesus answered my prayers, and what a great idea for a game that is sure to be a top favorite among all the video game players.

Here's how it would work. The setting would be a large church with many rooms. Each player would hide and the player that was "it", would seek out the other hiding players. When the player located a hiding player, he would present them with a Chick tract of his choosing and a big hug! Can you imagine how exciting this would be for both teens and adults! Now I know what you are thinking right about now, "why didn't I think of that"! Well, I'll tell you why you didn't come up this soon to be top seller, you didn't pray sincerly enough! Goodbye Grand theft auto, Halo, and Call of duty! Move over for the new blockbuster game of the summer! Instead of "Pac Man", it could be called "TracMan".

    Re: Bible based video game?

When I was a youngster, we used to play "the pilchard" at church after saturday evening praise.

The setting for "the Pilchard" is quite opposite to your game. One person hides somewhere in the huge church and the rest of the yougsters tries to find him. If they do, they would have to hide next to him/her and wait for the next person to find them.
After a while (as more and more people finds them) the hidees will be squeezed together like pilchards in a box.

The last man to find the hideout is a looser!

It was a blast, but I am not sure if it still would be such great fun as a video game.

I hate to interfere when men are speaking, but I (and many other Christians) would highly object to any video game that wiggled its way into the homes of many Believers under the guise of being Godly or Bible-based. Such blasphemy!

All video games are evil! Satan uses these horrid "games" to turn the minds of our precious young people into mush, to divert their attention from Scripture and focus their lives as far away from God as possible!

Just take a look at any person who plays video games. What kind of sick, perverted life are they living? Would you want that same lifestyle for Christian children? Any "christian" video game would be a gateway game to satanic, evil, unGodly games. It would only be a matter of time before Satan's filthy fingers were wrapped around the hearts and souls of our loved ones, dragging them farther away from God than Hell itself!

No, my friend. Such a video game would only bring about the downfall of True Christians everywhere.

Very well said Sister Pam. Any child that plays a Video game should be beaten.

I have a list prepared for this, as this discussion seems to happen over and over again: List of video games APPROVED BY JESUS!

To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
