    Re: God does not exist..

Because He felt like it? I don't know God's motivations for creating a world full of people 6000 years ago then damning most of them to eternal anguish (), but He did. God () doesn't need to explain Himself to you or anyone.
However, I'd suspect He did it because eternity is an awfully long time to just exist in a void. Maybe He did it for the laughs. God doesn't tell us why He does what He does, He just told us through the Bible that He did what He did.

But in answer to your question, God is so all-powerful and all-knowing that it only stands to reason that yes, He has always existed, or at the very least, willed Himself into existence. The only logical answer to who created God is God.

    Case closed.
You can not say "case closed" in a debate without hearing the arguement. There is also the logical answer that God did not create the universe because what incentive does he have for creating the universe? If he existed infinitely in the past, then why reason does God have to create a universe?

Your answer, God, lacks any prove to the question of how things came to be. I can name many other answeres to the reasons why things are other than God. Also there doesn't have to be an answer to why, things happen because the properties of our universe allows it to happen.

I keep my eyes closed because the light of religion blinds the perception of reality.

Nonsense friend. Do you think something as wondrous as the candiru catfish of Brazil just happened from random chance? No! That took a vastly superior and subtle mind to create it. What think do we know of that would attack a creatures reproductive organs in such a horrific way? Only God as we Christians understand Him has the motives and the means to do that.

I think you need to open your eyes a little wider to the wonders about you friend.

Why is God the only logical explanation for why everthing must come about somehow? It seems more logical to me that this world wasn't created by God, because of its lack of evidence for Him and the imperfectness of the world.

The second paragraph is barely worth a snort of contemptuous laughter. You may not believe in God, but you might as well not believe in the ground beneath your feet. Wish as you may that it doesn't exist, it will always be there keeping you from falling through space.

Your right for the wrong reasons. There is no disadvantage in for me believing in God, plus if I accept Jesus as my savior I get eternal happiness. However, I so strongly believe that there is no God that it's in my best interest to make the best of my life on planet Earth, and to help persuea people that people's money should not be going to a church but to help scientifically understand the world.

No, common sense says that everything must have come about somehow, and that somehow is God. Common sense then says considering that God created us, it's in everyone's best interest to listen to Him. Common sense says that throwing away salvation for eternal torment is a stupid thing to do.

Also the theory of natrual selection is a phenomenon that is supported by the evidence and facts that we have researched and witnessed. It is not a religion in which it's worshipped. It's merely common sense.
