    Parents, learn to recognize the early warning signs!

    Many of you are aware that although the Lord has not yet blessed me with a wife or children, I do take a very active interest in my community's youth. Therefore, I read with great interest the following handy guide for recognizing the early warning symptoms of homosexuality:

    Guidelines to Identify Gay and Lesbian Symptoms

    Symptoms of gays:

    Have a muscular body and like to show their body by wearing V-neck and sleeveless clothes;

    Prefer tight and light-coloured clothes;

    Attracted to men; and

    Like to bring big handbags, similar to those used by women, when hanging out.

    Symptoms of lesbians:

    Attracted to women;

    Besides their female companions, they will distance themselves from other women;

    Like to hang out, have meals and sleep in the company of women; and

    Have no affection for men.

    I must confess I own over 300 V-neck sweaters, so I will caution you that any one of these symptoms by itself should not necessarily be cause for alarm.

    Please do keep this list in mind, however, as it takes eternal vigilance to protect your children from their own fallen nature. Remember what 1 Peter 5:8 has to say on the subject:

    Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    I recommend periodically questioning your children about their activities. It doesn't have to be a big deal, but maybe just once a week, pull each child aside and privately ask them whether they've been having sexual feelings for any of their siblings or friends, whether they've touched any of their friends' bodies in private places, that sort of thing.

    If your children become accustomed to being asked about this on a weekly basis, they will get the message that you are "on the case," involved in their lives, and not likely to let any "funny business" go undetected or unpunished!

    I wish I had a sweater and female companions!
    The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.~Joel 1:12

      My friend, I've got sweaters to spare! Send me your address and I'll send you a bunch!

      As for female companions, that will only get you in trouble. The only female companion a man needs is his wife!

        Indeed Brother Faith Machine!

        This is one of the most important reasons we homeschool our children here in the Etheldreda house. No public school means no peer pressure with regards to fashion. My boys wear sensible dockers and polos, my girls wear jumpers with long sleeves for modesty. Their only peers are family and those friends whom we know to be trustworthy and Godly. No homosexual pressures during our play-dates, I can assure you! The children never play alone, doors are never shut, and we have a very committed "Confession Buddy" system. Because the LORD wants us to confess our sins, when one sibling sees another sin or be tempted to sin, they report to us right away so we can help the culprit confess. No secrets means no sin! It's a very healthy way to grow and mature!
        Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

          Re: Parents, learn to recognize the early warning signs!

          I have many tight fitting clothes that force me to show off my 2% body fat, all muscle physique. I am forced to do this because there are few companies that make shirts large enough to encompass my broad shoulders and pants that can contain my powerful manly thighs. I do not have a problem with my 34" waist or dimpled buttocks. I'd have Mrs. Hutchins sew me clothes but she gets her fingers caught in the sewing machine. She was stuck there for a few days once.
          Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
          Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
          Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
          Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
          Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
          Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

            However sometimes home schooling and asking your children is not enough. At this point all Good Christian Parents must employ what I like to call "ADVANCED ASKING TECHNIQUES." Some of these techniques require a strong stomach and relocation to a country that respects a parent's rights but the respect in your children's eyes when you enter the room makes it all worthwhile. Little Tammy Faith practically shakes with respect when I enter a room.

              I use to look for these signs:
              Guys:
              Talking too much.
              Irrelevant worrying about stuff.
              Long hair.
              Prefer Apple.

              Girls:
              No interest in cooking.
              Short hair.
              Blame men for everything.
              Do not like being lifted and carried by men.

              Both:
              Failure to make eye contact with individuals of the other sex.

                Brother Godfly, you are a fine testament to a True Christian™ father! A virtuous and upstanding role model you make for many fine young lads thinking of beginning the adventure of family life!
