All the 'mansions' are very close to each other with extremely short driveways or walkways and there are no dogs! Everyone is waiting at their door with a couple of dollars in hand and there are no locks on any doors! Everybody in JW heaven just impatiently waits for a JW visit and none of them ever roll their eyes or look at their watches during a visit and actually seem to be listening and buying it!!

Are you a henotheist now? Based on the NWT of John 1:1, which says Jesus was a god, you must believe there are other gods besides Jehovah. But what proof do you have that these other gods even exist?

Is 45:5a I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me.

Your cakes always look so delicious. I don't make a lot of cakes but do have some good recipes including boiled marmalade cake which is lovely with icecream there's a new icecream shop just opened close by and they also have a chocolate restaurant where everything is chocolate including the plates.

I hope I have not distracted Mrs Etheldreda. I have always told the younger forum members that when witnessing, even to hostile ignorants who look like they're about to have a botch-of-Egypt .Deuteronomy 28:27. that who knows? What you say next might be just what they needed to hear to turn away from evil and accept Jesus. So they'll understand my meaning I'm sure. Perhaps I should pop 'round to the Etheldreda's and reassure Mr Etheldreda that I am not trying to destabilise his wife? I wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea; thanks for the tip.

I was not claiming to know The Bible.
My question was if The Watchtower changed (in a number of ways) then the motivation for that change (to move it into agreement with the Scriptures) must have come from some better knowledge (of The Bible) than Russell had. Otherwise it would not have to change, it would already be in the 2nd state based on Russell's knowledge.

Whether that was an individual or group is not important. So how can you know whether in the future there won't be another group (or individual) having a better Biblical understanding than prevails today, in The Watchtower, requiring changes from the current position?

Just as today's doctrine has been changed from Russell's?

    How like them.

I don't think HB knows what he's in for. He's rather young.

If I were in a camp, I'd just escape, rather than stay in some barracks with those people.

I don't know the details, I try to stay away from cults as much as possible, but they call it "the LORDS supper" or some such nonsense and yeah, it's kind of like the Passover, but not really the Passover, so it's not really Jewish, but they pretend it is.

Huh, so they've changed the reason they don't celebrate Birthdays now? I guess the "we don't know when Jesus was born, so you're not allowed a Birthday either" was pretty hard to sell.

Yep, no Birthday cake, no Birthday presents, no Christmas, but they make a mockery of the "passover supper".

That's the problem with people who are brainwashed by religious cults. Logic isn't only too much to handle, it's systematically dismissed in favor of whatever emotional and psychological bondage ties them to the cult.

Poor, poor Heathen Basher, has become a Heathen Backer, and now he backs up and supports the Father of Lies.

Oh but I pray for this poor, deluded, duped, fool!

Come back Heathen Basher! Come back! Jesus will not forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), that is, if your conversion was in fact genuine!
