No, I've never been to one of those, and to the $1500 dresses, most wedding and prom dresses are also extremely expensive. Plus I meant the clothing worn gernerally, like the Tripp pants(which can be bought for about $26) and such

Really? How large? 1%? 5%? 20%? Even when I was proselytizing in Joo York when I was on my honeymoon with my husband, Mr. Whitford, we rarely saw any gothics, and there are millions of sinners in that city. So I guess the number can't be that large.

Never seen a Goth wear expensive stuff?? Guess you never went to a Romantic Goth meeting then?? Most of the dresses there are handmade and thus are quite costly, It's not uncommon to see a girl wearing a wardrobe of more than 1500$ on such a meeting.

Sister Mary Maria gave you a good list of verses, but she's only a woman, so as expected she missed an important one:

1Thess 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Are you going to claim that someone dressing in black, trying their hardest to look like a vampire or a ghoul, with unnatural hair colors, hanging around in cemeteries, is abstaining from all appearance of evil?

    Pastor Billy-Reuben
Dear Pastor, you are leaning towards stereotypes, it's not because someone dresses in black that he/she is a vampire, as a matter of fact, the alleged vampires are a very small obscure group inside the Goth culture, the drinking of blood frowned upon as it's not healthy and might spread diseases.

I said "societal norm", which is the norm for society in general.

So by, "some people", you actually mean "one person" who hasn't fully embraced the Goth lifestyle yet. Does he abstain from all appearance of evil?

So? The Bible says that women are foolish.

Prov 9:13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
