    A question for the ladies

    Landover Ladies:

Do you think it's proper to invite a male Landover Church Member to be listed as your friend on the website's profile section, or should it be He that decides?

It was Super Moderator Monsieur Wide-Open who revealed to my Very-First-Day eyes, via an infraction, that our Church was not, indeed, spelled Landrover, as I had mistakenly thought. For pointing me in the true and correct direction as to our name, I would like him on my Friend List. But is it too forward to make the invitation myself? It just doesn't seem right and proper, somehow.

(Also, P.S., between us: Would you trust him? He's in Belgium, I think. So wickedly exotic!)

A good True Christian woman is nothing if not patient.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Oh, i've invited several men to be on my friend slist, and none of them have taken it badly. Most seem happy, for some odd reason.
Repent, or be tortured in nasty ways with sharp, pointy things!

Cheshire: Thanks for sharing your experience. I will try to be patient, and see if they come to me. I would hate to get another infraction! Because if I should meet that "someone special" here...after a sufficient time has passed since the late Reverend's Going to Jesus, of course...I'm sure they will check my posting and infraction history, and judge me accordingly.

I've been meaning to ask, are you a fashion model? You're so beautiful! All True Christian women are beautiful, it goes without saying, but...wow! Is it difficult to wear those skimpy clothes, though...like sleeveless tops? I wouldn't dare!

Mistress Cookie, how well did you know the Reuerend Rauenmoone? Did he tour with you and your husband? What beliefs did he share with you?

Is this a trick question that only worthy Landovers know the answer to? Oh dear.

Reuerend Rauenmoone?? If I put Vs in for those Us, it looks like an "American" Indian name, sort of. Reverend Ravenmoon?

I don't believe I ever had the "pleasure" of meeting this "gentleman". Who is he?

My late husband was named Daryl, and we sometimes did our tent revival meetings with his sibling, Sister Rose.

              Maybe I misunderstood this exchange:

The Reverend burned my books in his testier last years, so I cannot double check.
I took that to be a response to Brother Nobar, but perhaps I misunderstood.

Reuerend Rauenmoone has shown up here from time to time, he's some sort of gothwiccanfalsechristian mutant who likes to use Old English spellings in order to appear "eccentric". He seems the sort you might have run into on the revival circuit.

Oh, it's quite easy. In reality, you just have your big angry ex husband standing there, ready to pound the photographer if he acts lewd.

Thank you for opening my eyes to this evil presence, Sister. I shall be on-guard should his satan-snouted face appear in my parts.

When I refer to the Reverend, I mean my late husband, the Pentecostal minister, Reverend Daryl Crawford. It is only with his passing that I now see that the panty-coastal sect, though arguably a descendent of the Baptists and the whole "charismatic movement", is not the TRUE FAITH.

On the revival circuit, Daryl, Sister Rose and myself mostly kept to ourselves. The amount of bookkeeping involved kept us from socializing, and we often had to leave town in the middle of the night, which precluded lasting ties to any community. There was a great deal of name changing that went on as well, between towns, so, sadly, it proved difficult to keep in touch with old friends.

Yet every day is a new day in God's Glory...and we didn't look back.
