Sister Elisa as Oded by her Earthly Father

She ain't that much but she ain't so little;
my daughter who&what cooks our vittles.
Drug the deer off the bed of my truck
with what she lacks in brains but has in pluck.
Cleaned it, dressed it, and God is neat:
that doe was pregnant. Extra meat!
She scrubs and dusts and pays her prayers
and skins old mules and worn out mares;
and I tell you this, that makes some good
of her not bein' a son. God misunderstood.
