Congressman takes office, swears oath to Satan

The first Muslim elected to Congress says he will take his oath of office using a Quran once owned by Thomas Jefferson to make the point that "religious differences are nothing to be afraid of.''
Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, D-Minn., decided to use the centuries-old Quran during his ceremonial swearing-in on Thursday after he learned that it is kept at the Library of Congress. Jefferson, the nation's third president and a collector of books in all topics and languages, sold the book to Congress in 1815 as part of a collection.

Some critics have argued that only a Bible should be used for the swearing-in. Last month, Rep. Virgil Goode, R-Va., warned that unless immigration is tightened, "many more Muslims'' will be elected and follow Ellison's lead. Ellison was born in Detroit and converted to Islam in college. Ellison said an anonymous person wrote to tell him about the Quran, and he arranged with the Library of Congress to use it. The chief of the Library of Congress' rare book and special collections division, Mark Dimunation, will walk the Quran across the street to the Capitol and bring it back after the ceremony.

Well, I don't know what Jefferson thought he was doing with the Devil's book, but the idea of such a thing being used to swear an oath on is truly horrendous. Could this be the start of the reign of the Antichrist?

If a vegetarian hippie were to make an American hot dog, he or she should use PORK like the rest of us -- not soy (which is known to cause homerism). If he were to make a steak, he should use beef. If he wants to govern in a True Christian nation, he should swear on a Bible. How is that so hard to understand? If he wants to rule a muslim nation, he should head to Iran or Mexico.

Ellison (D-Karachi) has chosen to swear his oath of office on a copy of the Quran originally owned by a famous infidel who publicly supported the violent insurgency that sought to overthrow a Christian government. That well known infidel left the Quran intact yet took a razor blade to the Bible, publishing his own version which denied the divinity of Christ, the virgin birth, the miracles and the resurrection. What makes me sad is that GW could have won in Iraq already, if the heretic demoncrats would let him. Ceasar and Alexander both knew how to pacify a population that was intent on terrorist tactics. But Tommy, then they'd be touching God's Holy Word (which you know they use as toilet paper if they run out)!

If they respected the Bible, they'd read it and follow it. Instead, they follow their book and blow up Godly Americans!

I'd much rather they take their oath before the demons they worship, than take an oath before God, which is nothing to them but a lie or a joke. This way, nobody can be confused and believe that they meant what they said!
