I know things seem glum, but the election results were, in fact, a great VICTORY for True Christians™. I have it on good authority that, due to the rampant immorality in the United States, God decided that he had to punish our nation, with the hope of getting us back on track. The Lord, I am told, presented a choice to a certain high-level Landover pastor whose name shall remain unspoken, but you can probably guess who it was, giving us either the anti-gay marriage amendment or Sarah Palin and her running mate in the White House, but not both.

As I'm sure you can all see, our great spiritual leader made exactly the right choice. Gay marriages--and the damage they do to normal, heterosexual marriages--last forever, and are simply intolerable. On the other hand, having a negro in the Presidency will only last four years. Since negroes are not as intelligent as white folks, he'll obviously screw things up royally, which will set the stage for Sarah Palin's triumphiant return to national politics in 2012.

So cheer up. Sure, we'll be more vulnerable to terrorism for a few years with Hussein in the White House, but we're back on the track to a lasting Evangelical majority four years from now when the public begs the Republicans to return to power to straighten out the mess that Obama will make.

I agree with you, Brother Az: Osambo's becoming "president" is a tragedy on the scale of 9/11, but it has been leavened somewhat by the banning of sodomarriage in three of these U.S.A.
