Today, the Vermont legislature overrode their Godly Republican governor with supermajorities in both houses to legalize gay "marraige".

They are now the fourth state in the Union to legalize this violation of nature, this travesty of justice, this perversion. It joins Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Iowa (excepting Freehold) in the ranks of the damned.

Earlier today, Newt Gingrich correctly criticized the revolting and unacceptable judicial activism of the Iowa Supreme Court last week in shoving gay marriage down the throats of its citizens. Newt said that their "judicial arrogance" will cause a re-examination of the concept of judicial power in the United States.

And now we have this disgusting display of "legislative arrogance" by the thuggish LIEberals in the Vermont legislature!!

Obviously, we need a MONARCHY!! And since we can't afford to let LIEberals grab all the power from REAL Americans, it should probably be a self-appointed Monarchy by the angry Republican mob!

Exactly, the Constitution provides for moments like this; we need to have Cheny declare himself president and use the war time powers to stop this evil before it destroys the country. The left has no right to do this just because they "won" some election.

Last week the United States Council of Catholic Bishops announced that over 150,000 Americans will enter into the Church during this Holy Week. Most of them will be baptized (if they never have been baptized before), confirmed, and have First Holy Communion during the Easter Vigil which is on Saturday night.

One of the most famous new converts is Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House of Representatives. He was interviewed on Chris Wallace’s Fox News Sunday show this morning, and they briefly discussed the subject.

Gingrich states that his conversion is a very personal experience and has taken 10 years to accomplish. After being a Baptist for most of his life, this is a huge step for him. He states that he has found great peace in his journey to Catholicism.

Even the "stalwart and courageous" Newt Gingrich, once believed to be a True Christian(tm), has succumbed to the Whore of Babylon's siren call.

Exactly. Activist legislators legislated from the legislature and thus usurped the powers that only the Governor (if he's a Republican) should have. The New Jersey legislature once did something similar, and True Christians™ had to go all the way to the Supreme Court in Boy Scouts v. Dale to defend our rights from activism.

It's hard for me to wake up and pull myself out of bed every morning, bathe and shave, clothe myself, eat 7 egg McGriddles at participating McDonalds restaurants and put on my daily program when two men or two women are legally able to get married. Who do they think is going to vote for them next time around? The homers? This is a perfect example of why term limits are a bad idea. If a politician can't get re-elected, what's to stop him from pushing whatever bullsh1t legislation he wants when his term is over? We WANT our legislators to promote good legislation, the and if they want to be re-elected, they will have to do that.
