John Edwards has an example to teach University of California at Davis students how to avoid poverty — charge $55,000 for a speech.
That's how much the 2008 Democratic presidential candidate negotiated for his fee to speak to 1,787 people at the taxpayer-funded school in January 2006, according to financial disclosures.
According to Joe Martin, the public relations officer for UC Davis' Mondavi Center, the fee for a speech entitled, "Poverty, the Great Moral issue Facing America," was worth it to school officials

Just goes to show you that those DEMONcrats will do ANYTHING for a buck, unlike the Godly Republicans that stand on the principles of hard work, graciousness, fairness, and merit.

That's why it is absolutely necessary that we Republicans regain power, we should ban all other political parties, disband the Congress, and install a murderous dictator to systematically round up and exterminate all those that disagree with us. It's the only way to insure that America isn't led astray by the money-mad and power-hungry Democrats.

Amen, Sister M&M. If I'm not mistaken, John Edwards is one of those Demoncrat trial lawyers that has been opposing tort reform for years. He has made his fortune suing Godly American corporations. Having him speak on the subject of poverty is an abomination. John Edwards is nothing but a parasite defrauding hard working Christian Americans.
