A TC on another thread - it might have even been you, but I'm not sure - actually admitted that he believed we were over there to take the oil because God wanted the US to have it and the Iraqi's wouldn't willingly give it up. I don't beleive that God necessarily wants us to take it, but Shrubya obviously does.

Have you read anything about the Provisional Authority? Those people were working very earnestly to give the Iraqis the blessings of an American Democracy with medical co payments, deregulated industries and the New Jersey State traffic code. This is not the work of people out to create an imperial colony.
