God Bless the Supreme Court! Human rights for Corporations!

Overturning a century-old restriction, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday that corporations could spend as much as they wanted to sway voters in federal elections.

In a landmark 5-4 decision, the court's conservative bloc said that corporations had the same right to free speech as individuals...

President Obama called the ruling "a major victory for Big Oil, Wall Street banks, health insurance companies and the other powerful interests that marshal their power every day in Washington to drown out the voices of everyday Americans."
God Bless the Supreme Court, and praise Jesus for Judicial activism! Thanks to this ruling, AmeriChrist Corporation will be buying politicians in bulk!

Now, since Corporations have the exact same rights as humans, that means Corporations also have the right to kill in self-defense. If a union, activist group, or some uppity small business threatens to do damage to our profits, that's assault and battery. If there's a risk of us going out of business, that's attempted murder and we're allowed to kill in self-defense.

So, now all we need to do is get a case to the Supreme Court, to set precedent. It seems nobody can threaten Americhrist Corp, but I've noticed there's an old shop on 2nd Street that sells the same sort of things that Wal-Mart does. That damages the human being known as Wal-Mart, and is therefore assault.

Who's up for rescuing a Corporate damsel in distress?

UPDATE: Republicans agree that Human rights don't only apply to corporations, they also apply to people who have sex purely for reproductive purposes. (And nobody else. Because that's how human rights work, you can't have them without taking away someone else's).

If you've never masterbated, or had non-vaginal sex, or had vaginal sex with someone using birth control, you now have rights:

"Civil rights are granted in natural rights. Natural rights are granted in human nature. Human nature is a rational substance in relationship. The intelligible end of reproductive act is reproduction. Do you understand that? Civil rights when they conflict with natural rights are (yelling) No YOU sit down. The lesbians at Smith College protest better than you do. The lesbians at Smith College protest better than you do. Alright? Bring it. Jeff Frazee, guess what, you just made an enemy out of me, buddy. Yeah you, guess what. YOU just made an enemy out of me"

Of course, anyone who has masturbated or had non-vaginal sex, or had vaginal sex with someone using birth control; is not human, since human nature is to only orgasm in the name of reproduction.

It is sometimes difficult for me to follow business matters, but will corporations now be allowed to marry?

What if it is "Uncle Ben" and "Eddie Bauer"?

There may be shadows attached to this ray of light.

What really irks me are all those bleeding heart liberals who only fight for freedom of speech when it helps their interests.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Uncle ben is a brand, not a corporation. Yes, I know it sounds bad, but I would marry Goldman Sachs in a second if it/he would accept my proposal. We can do that bit after the self-defense bit.

I must say that I am disgusted with the developments from the Supreme Court. It allows the General Electric Corporation (GE – owner of NBC / MSNBC) to continue to allow Chris "Cheeseball" Mathews, Rachel "Bull Dyke" Madow, and LIEbral whiner Keith Olberman to continue to spew their lies and distortions.

Thank God that Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation (owner of Fox News) is allowed free speech so that Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly can tell the Truth.

Does this also mean that corporations get to vote in elections from now on? That would make our democracy much more efficient.

There are so many sick-ular products we True Christians™ avoid....I wonder if corporations can now sue us for hurting their feelings, or "descrimination", or "alienation of affection" or anything.

Will we have to grant political asylum to corporations fleeing overseas locations?

This was a GREAT thing for us all to fight for, don't get me wrong, but now I'm wondering how the lie-beral companies will turn it around on us.

Re: God Bless the Supreme Court! Human rights for Corporations!

The recent Supreme Court decision was very good news indeed. We are already reaping the benefits, as you can see:

However, my company is preparing another lawsuit, because, quite frankly, we don't think that the newly activist Supreme Court went far enough. Corporations are entitled to the same rights as all other citizens, yet we are still being denied universal suffrage. We pay taxes, but we have no right to vote. As you no doubt recall from your history lessons, it was taxation without representation that led to the American Revolution.

The time has come for the court to redress this abominable situation. Corporations should have the right to vote in all elections. Each share should equal one vote. So if we issue 50 million shares, we should have 50 million votes. I'm sure that all of you will agree that this is reasonable and fair.

                  Praise Jesus!

Praise God that Obama may already have made all the Supreme Court nominations he is going to make! In three years may Sarah Palin get to stack the court !!!

That sounds completely fair, to me. And houses should get votes, too, because they pay taxes. The bigger the real estate value, the bigger the amount of votes they get should be.

Good news, folks. Taking advantage of the Supreme Court ruling we just bought, I'm proud to announce that one of our subsidiaries is running for Congress:

Supreme Court Ruling Spurs Corporation Run for Congress: First Test of “Corporate Personhood” In Politics

...The campaign’s designated human, Eric Hensal, will help the corporation conform to antiquated “human only” procedures and sign the necessary voter registration and candidacy paperwork. Hensal is excited by this new opportunity. “We want to get in on the ground floor of the democracy market before the whole store is bought by China.”

Murray Hill Inc. plans on filing to run in the Republican primary in Maryland’s 8th Congressional District. Campaign Manager William Klein promises an aggressive, historic campaign that “puts people second” or even third.

“The business of America is business, as we all know,” Klein says. “But now, it’s the business of democracy too.” Klein plans to use automated robo-calls, “Astroturf” lobbying and computer-generated avatars to get out the vote...
