Just returned from the Nashville convention

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I have returned home to Freehold from the highly successful Tea Party convention in Nashville, TN. The hospitality of Tennesseans, and the razor sharp intellects of our fellow Tea Party members was truly a wonderful experience.

In a riveting, often incisive 40 minute speech, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin addressed Tea Party National Convention in Nashville. She covered topics from national security to health care to budget deficits often deriding and mocking the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party though she took a moment to praise Michigan Democrat Bart Stupak for his anti-abortion stance. To prove how intelligent and adaptable she is, instead of a teleprompter she worked from notes written on the palm of her hand.

She stated "I will live, I will die for the people of America", this personally brought tears to my eyes.

During a 20 minute question and answer session with Judson Phillips, our party founder, she informed us that the Tea Party Movement was the future of the country.

There was much more, and you knew Jesus was there standing with us the entire time.

I also heard from Brother Jonah Hale that a great deal of behind the scenes work was accomplished for Project Habakkuk!! I can't get too specific, but the project materials were received joyfully at the highest levels !!

I'm almost jealous Brother Sayved. That must have been a great great experience, seeing her in the flesh like that.

I'm so hoping to be able to afford a trip to Nevada, when Mrs. Palin will kick off the Tea Party Express III tour.

It's too bad that the proceedings of the Tea Party Convention couldn't have been televised nationally. But what do you expect from the liberal mainstream media? It's too bad that thoughful, measured, intelligent political dialog can no longer even be heard in the US of A!!!

I do admire that Judson Phillips. He's done so much for the American people . . . copyrighting "Tea Party Nation", starting a members-only password-protected website, charging over $500 per person to attend his for-profit convention (plus over $300 to watch Sister Sarah Palin)!

It's good to see people moving beyond the old, failed politics of arguing and division, and have come to understand the need for Strength and Unity though Faith. Faith makes us strong, socialist healthcare only makes us fat!

Reverend, does how much Brother Phillips make that important? Phillips is here for the People so we common men Americans (white, Baptist Republicans) can reclaim Our Country after it was stolen by Obama and his ACORN thugs. Phillips is just a working class guy like Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin; rolling the sleeves up on his blue collar shirt and getting to work. And no fancy elitist teleprompters too.

Amen, Brother Temperance. And things will get better when we finish extending the Golden Shield Project (otherwise known as the Great Firewall of China) to the USA. Then there won't be any more arguing and division (though if there is, our privatised Internet police will take care of that).
