Congressman Mark Souder (R-IN), a fine evangelical Christian and pro-family, pro-life, pro-gun Republican, is the latest victim of the all-consuming liberal hate machine in Washington, D.C.

From his press release:

I sinned against God, my wife, and my family by having a mutual relationship with a part-time member of my staff.

In the poisonous environment of Washington D.C., any personal failing is seized upon, often twisted, for political gain.

I am resigning rather than to put my family through that painful, drawn-out process.

Thanks to that poisonous environment — with which Godly Republicans like Mr. Souder had nothing to do — his family would have had to suffer through no fault of anyone in that family. Now, Souder will no longer be in Congress, protecting us from the blue-state fag-enablers and their culture of sexual irresponsibility.

Why do these liberals hate America so much? I met Congressman Souder at a fundraiser to raise money to broadcast "Barney Frank is a Disgusting Fag" TV commercials last election cycle, and he seemed like a very Godly, intelligent, moral man. We knealt and prayed together for the defeat of the DEMONcrats, more tax cuts, and for Nancy Pelosi to develop AIDS.

But the LAST thing the DEMONcrats want is a Godly, intelligent, moral man in Congress. They'd rather have Barney Frank!! So I'm not at all surprised that the DEMONcrats have unleashed their liberal media smear and lie machine on Congressman Souder!!! They smear and lie and distort the truth to distract The American People(tm) from the real issues: lower taxes, family values, finding those Weapons of Mass Distruction in Iraq, and Obama's socialist totalitarian agenda.

As it has been pointed out; Souder only cheated on his wife after they were married! Souder NEVER had premarital sex. I think the situation is clear. Godly Representative Souder was SAVING himself for marriage only to find out afterward that his wife is an incompetent and inexperience sex partner. Of course being a moral man Souder couldn't just leave his wife, since Jesus having bound the two together for LIFE. But he did the proper thing and when out and took advantage of alternatives.

Did we mention Barny Frank is gay?
