Tim Lahaye: Obama bringing us closer to the apocalypse!

I am a huge fan of the Left Behind series of books, so I was thrilled when my favorite author and his wife made an appearance on Mike Huckabee's show on FOX News earlier this month.

The video has been posted online now, and I would like to share this informative and inspirational programming with my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Dr. Lahaye, D. Min., jumps right in with both guns blazing and tells it like it is about B. Hussein Obama within the first minute:

Our present president doesn't seem to get it. He doesn't understand that some of the things he's introducing that many of us call 'raw socialism' - it's a different name, but it's essentially government control and government domination of everything. And he sees that as a panacea, but instead it's going to work against our country and bringing us closer to the apocalypse.

When asked by Brother Mike if we are currently living in the End Times (2:55), the Good Reverend gives this inspired response:

Very definitely, Governor. I believe that what we see around us, for example - the three major issues of our day are the global government, global economy, and global religion. And those are the three legs of the stool of globalism. And it happens at the same time that Israel just happens to be back in their land for the first time in almost 1900 years, at the same time that Russia and the islamic nations are getting together - they've never done that in the history of the world! And yet now they're the enemies of this country that God said He'd bring back into the Land.

When asked by Brother Mike to explain the importance of Biblical Prophecy (3:50), Reverend Lahaye offers these profound insights:

Prophecy is such a supernatural thing. It's really history written in advance. Only God can forecast the history of the future and have it come to pass. And He has done that in the Bible over 1,000 times! 500 times have already been fulfilled.

For example, he told Daniel that there would be 4 world empires. That's 2,500 years ago, and here we are counting in the history books, there have been four world empires until we are getting ready for the last would-be world governor.

And of course there are many other signs. For example, Jesus. There have been all kinds of Christs and false teachers and would-be prophets. And how do we know that Jesus is one of a kind? Because he has fulfilled more prophecies. There are 109 messianic prophecies, as you well know, in the Old Testament, and Jesus has fulfilled them all! No one else has even come close. I would say the most anyone else has fulfilled is maybe 8 or 9. And Jesus fulfilled them all. So we don't wonder if He is the one and only Messiah. He's proven that by history.

I am so inspired by this Man of God, and his wife Beverly is such a wonderful role model for True Christian Ladies™ everywhere. He has a new book coming out, Edge of the Apocalypse, so hopefully we can get him to come to Freehold for a book-signing and some preaching.

That would be thrilling. We need to expedite his visit because the Rapture is coming up fast, May 21 next year.

Can't those secularist fools see what they are doing with their socialism? They are bringing the end of the world! Obama is just sitting there jumping up and down on the Apocalypse bomb with his Marxists agenda.

Bible prophecy is an empirically proven FACT. There is no debate. The Bible says it will happen, it will happen. We Christians need to stop Obama before God Will comes to pass.

I am kind of hazy on this world empire thing. Presumably it would mean "spans the entire globe and significant portions of the human population". So that would be the British and French Empires of the 19th and early 20th Centuries. So who are the other two? I am sure they have to be there because God says so in the Bible and this is the end times (if we don't stop Obama NOW)
