Did Mary and Joseph have state-supplied health insurance? HECK NO! Why do you think Mary had to have Jesus in a stable?
The idea that people should get something for nothing is abhorrent! Especially in the case of children, who have done NOTHING in their lives to earn either health insurance or God's great gift of salvation.
Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. Psalm 76:11
Who among the Nations of Man give poor people free health care? The godless Communists, that's who! Those atheistical commies in Iceland, for instance...their infant mortality rate is 3.31 per thousand.
In the USA our infant mortality is 6.37 per thousand, and by God and President Bush, prospective parents had better PAY for their care...or they risk having a dead baby on their hands. And it will be THEIR FAULT!
His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Matthew 25:26, 27
We know how this great Bible story ends, with the wicked and slothful who can't pay for their own health care cast into darkness:
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Matthew 25:30-33
The GOATS of America do not deserve free health care. Thank the Lord that our righteous President has vetoed the bill that would have given it to them.
