I resent your statement "What we can do as Christians..." as this implies that all Christians believe the same thing. This is not true, as my Christian faith tells me that all people -- gay and straight -- are equal in God's eyes and equal deserve welcome and respect and acceptance... and thus we would not support a candidate like this. To someone outside the Christian faith, your statement gives the rest of us a bad rap.
