Until I see a candidate calling for replacing the constitution with the bible, I'm just not motivated. Maybe I should throw my hat in the ring. But, I'm afraid the liberal conspiracy would have me killed or even worse spread rumors I am gay or a closet democrat.

I couldn't agree more. Let me share with you a brutal attack from an atheist homer liberal blogger on Sister Bachmann. The blogger, while trying to smear her only succeeds in outlining her Godliness (stupid liberal)

This background is significant considering Bachmann's leadership role in the Tea Party, a movement ostensibly founded on ideas of limited government. Bachmann says she believes in a limited state, but she was educated in an extremist Christian tradition that rejects the entire notion of a separate, secular legal authority and views earthly law as an instrument for interpreting biblical values. As a legislator, she not only worked to impose a ban on gay marriage, she also endorsed a report that proposed banning anyone who "espoused or supported Shariah law" from immigrating to the U.S. (Bachmann seems so unduly obsessed with Shariah law that, after listening to her frequent pronouncements on the subject, one begins to wonder if her crazed antipathy isn't born of professional jealousy.)

I'm so conflicted over this, because she seems like she'd champion a theology over secular rubbish. She seems to meet my criteria for everything I want in a President...even going as far as to arrest anyone who commits acts of blasphemy (wouldn't that be grand?). BUT, Bachmann is a woman. She'd be spending to much time in the kitchen then in the oval office.
