(Topless) Susan Sarandon calls Pope a Nazi (Good?)

This FOX NEWS article breaks the story that sinful starlet Susan Sarandon -- who's appeared topless in about half her movies if I recall right -- is supposedly "under fire" for calling the current "pope" a nazi.

I have mixed feelings. Was her language innapropriate? I don't know...but anyone who's getting the heretical Catholics and heathenistic Jewish race stirred up (and dangerously raising their blood pressures) at the same time can't be all bad?

    Is she right?

Susan Sarandon Under Fire From Catholic, Jewish Groups for Calling Pope Benedict a 'Nazi'

    | FoxNews.com

Actress Susan Sarandon called Pope Benedict XVI a Nazi during a discussion session at the Hamptons Film Festival over the weekend.

Sarandon, who won an Academy Award for her role in the 1995 anti-death penalty film "Dead Man Walking,” said she had sent a copy of the book on which the movie is based to the Pope.

"The last one. Not this Nazi one we have now," she reportedly told Newsday, referring to the German-born pontiff. She later repeated her remark at the Ciroc vodka-sponsored panel.

A source tells Fox411.com that the crowd "didn't seem bothered" by Sarandon's words, and the discussion ended with the majority of the crowd praising her for everything from her work with UNICEF to her staunch support of Occupy Wall Street.

However, the Catholic League of America was quick to slam Sarandon for her "obscene" words.

“Susan Sarandon’s ignorance is willful: those who have hatred in their veins are not interested in the truth. The fact is that Joseph Ratzinger (the Pope) was conscripted at the age of 14 into the Hitler Youth, along with every other young German boy. Unlike most of the other teenagers, Ratzinger refused to go to meetings, bringing economic hardship to his family. Moreover, unlike most of the others, he deserted at the first opportunity,” the league’s President William Donohue said in a statement. “Sarandon’s comment is obscene. Sadly, it’s what we’ve come to expect from her.”

Political commentator and film critic Michael Medved was also dismayed by the Nazi accusation.

"Could Susan Sarandon be following a classic rule of public relations: When the world is increasingly ignoring you, try attacking the Pope? Why should anyone care what a fading Hollywood actress has to say about one of the most influential thinkers and religious leaders in the world?" Medved told Fox411.com. "Her denigration of Pope Benedict is particularly regrettable in light of this German pope's moving and eloquent efforts to come to terms the horrors of the Holocaust."

Sarandon also drew strong criticism from the Jewish community.

"Ms. Sarandon may have her differences with the Catholic Church, but that is no excuse for throwing around Nazi analogies. Such words are hateful, vindictive and only serve to diminish the true history and meaning of the Holocaust," The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which fights anti-Semitism, said in a statement while also calling on Sarandon to issue an apology to the Catholic community.

Sarandon’s Hollywood agent did not respond to a request for comment.

However, entertainment and political publicist, Angie Meyer, said the veteran actress's reputation is likely to suffer – at least temporarily – as a result of her controversial opinion.

"Sarandon's now positioned herself in an unwise position by insulting a large religious sector, who might otherwise pay to watch her movies," Meyer said ."Her outlandish words come as a huge liability to movie producers, and film financiers. There will be push back - she's stuck her foot too far down to fully recover, at least for the short term."

But in the long term, the outspoken actress's image could remain unchanged by her Nazi comment.

"Susan Sarandon has a reputation of saying things that are controversial. This statement is certainly right up there. But given her history I doubt it will harm her career," public relations expert Glenn Selig added. "While inflammatory and insulting to many, particularly Catholics, people know her as someone who speaks her mind. Being opinionated is part of what the public seems to like about her or choose to accept about her, even if they don't agree with her.

Considering that most of Sarandon's movies doing even bother to lampshade their hatred of men it's not surprising she would attack the Pope like that. Sure the Pope is a neo-pagan child molester, but that's no excuse for this outburst from Sarandon!

A TRUE Christian™ look at some of Sarandon's "movies"

Rocky Horror Picture Show - blatant celebration of the effeminatetion of the American male. Word is it was financed by Doris Day.

The Witches of Estwick - a movie were some bored MILFS summon the devil and then castrate him, for being male.

    Dull Durham
    - two and a half hours of Sarandon forcing baseball players to wear women's underwear.

Thelma & Loise - two women drive cross country shooting every man they meet, for being men.

Dead Man Walking - a first for Sarandon, a movie were she doesn't cause all the male deaths in the movie.

And that is just a brief summery of the horror Sarandon has inflicted on the American public.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Shes a Leftist scumbag and a harlot for sure but as we all know Mr Brad Pitt first appeared in Thelma & Louise and his portrayal of a seduced cowboy was Oscar worthy. That movie led to him appearing in the excellent Legends Of The Fall where his character was simply fabulous.
      For a queer that is.

Sarandon has been nude far too many times in her appalling films to have anything she says be taken seriously but in all fairness the Pope is indeed a Nazi. Served under Hitler and manned a flak gun shooting down Jesus favorite countries bombers and fighters during WW2. He is absolutely a Nazi but coming from her sewer I am honestly surprised anyone listened.
God bless America, the Second Amendment and the Constitution. God bless the United States Marine Corps and all who fight for Jesus in third world cess pools. God bless the GOP and all they stand for, Truth, Honesty and the American people. God bless Landover Baptist Church and all True Christians™ the world over. Curses to our Muslim President, his failure is our Salvation.

It is rather undignified to chastise this woman for her callous remarks as they are so below the decency standards of even Hollywood as to best be ignored... but what the Hell!

Ms. Saranwrap, one of the biggest pin-cushions in the history of film, is the new Cher and likely just lashing out to help vent her frustrations with an aging problem that has her working with more prunes than Pitts these days.

Perhaps a few hundred fewer one-night stands with anyone from craft service might have saved her from having more lines on her face than Charlie Sheen's counter-top but it is too late now and all that is left for her are cheap publicity stunts and short-term lovers who lost party bets and have grudges against their manhood.

Of course, His Holiness forgives her and wonders where she... an American actress... gets off commenting on who screwed a large number of Jews to make ends meet.

Bless you, My dental film critics,

I also heard she also sold that Brooke Shields into child prostitution and violated the Mann Act to get her to Hollywood, just so she could tear her clothes off in Pretty Baby.

I guess even then she knew she was aging from her "fast lane" Hollywood deathstyle choice, and had to throw a younger nudie to the lions to keep the people coming in.

I wonder if she's friends with the Roman Polanski dwarf person?

She's supposedly a hermaphrodite with undescended male genitals, isn't she? No wonder she's "testy."
