Bill O'Reilly's Book Burned by U.S. Troops in Afghanistan

A group of soldiers recently burned a box of Bill O'Reilly's books that had been sent to them in Afghanistan.

An anonymous soldier going by the name of Everqueer posted pictures of the burning on their Tumblr page. The book in question was "Pinheads and Patriots," which O'Reilly has sent to Afghanistan through a charity group.

"Some jerk sent us two boxes of this awful book instead of anything soldiers at a remote outpost in Afghanistan might need, like, say, food or soap," the soldier said. "Just burned the whole lot of them on my Commander's orders."

The armed forces shouldn't be out burning books unless it's the Koran, however they'd never do that because who wants to anger the enemy more than the already are?

Books are useless in a remote area where all the necessities that are required to survive in comfort are rapidly diminishing.
piffleing dumbasses need to get useful and send things that people actually care about.

Boo hoo, they got a bunch of books and not the teddy bears and blankies they wanted. They were probably sending smoke singles to Al Quida saying they surrender!

Face it, this book burning is outright treason to REAL American values. Those so called soldiers should be court martialed and sent to GITMO with the rest of the terrorists!

I totally agree but inadvertantly these traitors may have actually sabotaged their own cause , Imagine if the Afkahnis Arifisatinis Arafistanis bad guys got hold of this book, they would start their learnin about free markets, gold investing and other essential mind-blowing truths THEY don't what you to know.

Clearly, the troops had plenty of toilet paper on hand when the went all 451 on Mr. O'Reilly's door-stoppers.

However, I do think they were a little hasty in this disposal as all through that part of the world villagers routinely us dung to cook their meals. Perhaps a donation to the regional tribal folks would have been a less wasteful gesture.

OK, maybe I shouldn't have sent them, but what am I supposed to do with all these ghost-written conservative books that keep piling up in our warehouses? Sheesh, I appreciate everything Bill's done for our Propaganda Department, but it's getting expensive supporting the growing army of ghost writers churning out books for O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and (wait for it) Sarah Palin. I mean most of these people can't even read, let alone write, but we've got to make them into "best-selling authors" by purchasing at least a million copies of their drivel. Anything to drive up the sales ranking at Amazon - if we weren't doing that, the dumbass public might find out that the only book Bill O'Reilly actually "sold" was the one he bought for his mother. Sarah Palin was even worse - she sent her mom a copy C.O.D.

Actually, I shouldn't complain so much. The books we sent to Afghanistan were paid for by the Department of Homeland Security - we just got our lobbyists to pull a few strings. And thank the Lord for these Kindle sales - we can send our "purchases" straight to the bit bucket without human intervention (our computer handles the whole job - we don't even have to pay one of our Injun employees in Bangalore to do it).
