  • Are Romney's Santorum problems all behind him now?

Whether or not Santorum can stick around for the duration, it certainly looks like Romney has him licked. Poll after poll after poll has Santorum well behind the Mormon venture capitalist and there is little to suggest Mitt can be over-taken by a Santorum surge even if Newt joins the Santorum push in a classic rear-guard action.

The question then of the VP portion of the GOP ticket has arisen with Santorum saying he wood be happy to run as the number two man on the fall ticket.

Can Santorum convince the magic underwear crowd that he is the perfect number two to Mitt's number one?

It is very sad to see so many so-called Christians line up for Mitt when the three remaining candidates are, more or less, actual Christians but such is the case.

At this rate we will have to wait for another election cycle before we can hope to end Roe V. Wade by putting a Catholic back in the White House... we can always hope our slim majority on the SCOTUS seals the deal but without Santorum can the necessary wheels of Government be effectively greased to get the job done?

I don't know Father Mo, Mittens still has wiped Santorum out yet. So Rick is sticking to him hard.

That being said I am finding himself with many Republicans giving a hearty "sure" to Mitt Romney as our banner bearer in 2012. After all, no question about Mittens being a US citizen, right?

    Oh,..

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

While your field is religion, Farther Maurice, and mine is politics, I think I can provide some insight into the propects of a Romney/Santorum ticket. The prospects are good.

We know Mormons have a preoccupation with adult underwear. Catholics, too, have an underwear preoccupation. In the Catholic case it is priests preoccupation with little boys' underwear.

The two faiths seem like they would get along well.
