Again, fighting for THE CAUSE® on the Internet I was started to come across this article at the evil liberal blog Huffington post

Imagine a presidential candidate who believed that God wanted him to run for president because American needed him. Picture a secretive group of Washington insiders who meet quietly to mix religion, class and politics and who believe in an elite group of people divinely ordained to run the country and the world. Now envision this group meeting in sex-segregated cells to discuss how God has chosen them to fulfill their roles in public life. And, at the helm of this group, picture a figure described by an admirer as a "guy in the smoky back room" who "sits in the corner, and you see the cigar, and you see the flame, and you hear his voice -- but you never see his face" whose followers have made "a fetish of being invisible." Now imagine that a few of the members of this group outside of the U.S. have included "General Suharto of Indonesia; Honduran general and death squad organizer Gustavo Alvarez Martinez; a Deutsche Bank official disgraced by financial ties to Hitler; and dictator Siad Barre of Somalia, plus a list of other generals and dictators."

Sounds very godly and Christian, doesn’t it? The kind of candidate Jesus would love.

For those of you who think you're reading about George W. Bush and his administration, you'd be mistaken, though members of the Bush administration do belong to the sect described. The presidential candidate is Hillary Clinton, and the group is "The Foundation" also known as "The Family." Its leader is Doug Coe, a man described by Clinton as "a unique presence in Washington: a genuinely loving spiritual mentor and guide to anyone, regardless of party or faith, who wants to deepen his or her relationship with God." Yes, it's true, according to Kathryn Joyce and Jeff Sharlet who published an article in Mother Jones magazine in September 2007 about Hillary Clinton's deepening ties to the group.

I mean, Hillary a Christian (Republican), but I thought she was a secularist? I mean anyone that evil has to be an atheist. But if this is true then that means she is a TRUE Christian(tm),.. and er she was not really being evil,..er

I am confused here. Help me out.

I have obtained the first several pages of the draft for Hillary Clinton's forthcoming novel, "First Lady.... of DANGER!"

It was a gloomy Thursday morning in Washington, and I was exhausted. The sun was beginning to rise over the Capitol, and I was just getting into bed in the White House after returning from a daring combat mission smuggling suitcase nukes out of Chechnya. Bill was snoring.

I took off my fatigues and cleaned the camouflage makeup off my face. My muscles ached. I hadn’t slept since Thursday, when I woke up in a dank sweaty fallout shelter in Kosovo next to guitarist Dan Fogelberg and prop comic Carrot Top.

Just as I lay my head on the pillow, the phone rang. It was the Pentagon again. They were sending me on another dangerous mission, this time to Indonesia to rescue hostages being held by a radical Muslim militia holed up in the jungle.

“Who is it?” Bill mumbled, still half asleep.

“Go back to bed, Bill. It’s the Pentagon. They’re sending me on yet another hazardous mission halfway across the world.”

These deadly international missions were starting to get to me. On Monday, I was negotiating peace in Northern Ireland. On Wednesday afternoon, I was rescuing puppies in Pakistan. It seemed like if the place was too small, too dangerous or too poor, the Pentagon picked up the phone to call the First Lady—and a guitarist and a comedian.

Only two weeks before, I had parachuted into the Balkans with comedian Jackie Mason and guitarist Lenny Kravitz. As we parachuted out of the plane, the three of us had to run across a minefield under heavy sniper fire to get to our armored personnel vehicle.

“Serpentine!! Serpentine!!” Jackie Mason yelled. “Don’t let the snipers get you in their sights!”

I knew from previous lethal missions in the world’s most dangerous war zones that if anyone knew how to avoid sniper fire, it was comedian Jackie Mason.

“Thanks, Jackie!” I yelled.

I turned around just in time to see guitarist Lenny Kravitz getting up to crawl behind the charred remains of a tank. “Hey Kravitz, watch out for that barbed wire!” But it was too late. Lenny Kravitz had caught his fuchsia boa in the barbed wire. I knew that if I didn’t take immediate action, one of America’s great guitarists would have been killed. I ripped my trusty Bowie knife out of its sheath and flicked my wrist to cut him loose.

“Thanks, Hillary,” said guitarist Lenny Kravitz. “You saved my life!”

“It was nothing, Lenny Kravitz,” I said. “I just hope we can complete our mission and get out of here alive.”

But on this gloomy Thursday morning, with Bill snoring into the pillow and the bleeding on my open head wound starting to subside, I was on my way out the door again-- undoubtedly to save the lives of crippled children in Bolivia, or something of that nature.

Good points Bobby-Joe. I'm starting to like her. She obviously is a very brave person.

Doesn't the DOF have a file on her? I mean, it's not like my support for McCain (from day one) is lessening, but I'd rather see a decent opponent - like Hillary - than that Obmama guy.

It was an elegant example of the Clinton style, a rhetorical maneuver subtle, bold, and banal all at once. During a Democratic candidate forum in June, hosted by the liberal evangelical group Sojourners, Hillary Clinton fielded a softball query about Bill's infidelity: How had her faith gotten her through the Lewinsky scandal?

After a glancing shot at Republican "pharisees," Clinton explained that, of course, her "very serious" grounding in faith had helped her weather the affair. But she had also relied on the "extended faith family" that came to her aid, "people whom I knew who were literally praying for me in prayer chains, who were prayer warriors for me."

Such references to spiritual warfare—prayer as battle against Satan, evil, and sin—might seem like heavy evangelical rhetoric for the senator from New York, but they went over well with the Sojourners audience, as did her call to "inject faith into policy." It was language that recalled Clinton's Jesus moment a year earlier, when she'd summoned the Bible to decry a Republican anti-immigrant initiative that she said would "criminalize the good Samaritan...and even Jesus himself." Liberal Christians crowed ("Hillary Clinton Shows the Way Democrats Can Use the Bible," declared a blogger at TPMCafe) while conservative pundits cried foul, accusing Clinton of scoring points with a faith not really her own.

In fact, Clinton's God talk is more complicated—and more deeply rooted—than either fans or foes would have it, a revelation not just of her determination to out-Jesus the GOP, but of the powerful religious strand in her own politics. Over the past year, we've interviewed dozens of Clinton's friends, mentors, and pastors about her faith, her politics, and how each shapes the other. And while media reports tend to characterize Clinton's subtle recalibration of tone and style as part of the Democrats' broader move to recapture the terrain of "moral values," those who know her say there's far more to it than that.

Through all of her years in Washington, Clinton has been an active participant in conservative Bible study and prayer circles that are part of a secretive Capitol Hill group known as the Fellowship. Her collaborations with right-wingers such as Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) and former Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) grow in part from that connection. "A lot of evangelicals would see that as just cynical exploitation," says the Reverend Rob Schenck, a former leader of the militant anti-abortion group Operation Rescue who now ministers to decision makers in Washington. "I don't....there is a real good that is infected in people when they are around Jesus talk, and open Bibles, and prayer."
