I was interested in the fact he has had four wives--nearly the number of Newt's wives. It is curious how often prominent men end up with bad wives and need to move on. But, Rep. Brown has done this and now has a wife who compliments his career.

Amazon how people misinterpret these things like Representative Broun and that crack hooker beating thing. Life is complex so we should expect even our elected officials to be complex.

Once again, the Jew run liberal media has bullied a right thinking American into backing down from his deeply held and Biblically correct beliefs.

The campaign of Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) offered an explanation this week for comments the congressman made referring to basic scientific principles as "lies straight from the pit of hell."

In a speech first reported by Talking Points Memo last week, Broun explained his anti-science beliefs to attendees of a September Sportsman’s Banquet at Liberty Baptist Church in Hartwell, Ga.

In the campaign's first public response since TPM uncovered the video, a spokeswoman told CNN that Broun was “speaking off the record to a large church group about his personal beliefs regarding religious issues.”

While the campaign says Broun's remarks were of a personal nature, science educator Bill Nye argued this week that it was detrimental to have such a school of thought represented in the House Science Committee.

Broun has an M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. He also holds a B.S. in chemistry.

Why is it that every time a Christian makes any statement of Biblical fact he is pilloried like a common criminal by the media? It has gotten to the point that a Christian cannot say that all science is of the Devil, or that homosexuals should be stoned to death, or that women are property, without being publicly excoriated by some atheist reporter. All Congressman Paul Broun was doing was explaining that 100% of his political decisions are Bible based. What is so wrong with that?

What a great man. Thank God there are people like him on the science committee protecting us from secular lies like evolution.

I don't see it that way at all. See, when a right thinking politician is forced to use buzzwords like "personal beliefs" and "off the record" by the LIEberals, it's their way of bringing in that whole ridiculous "separation of church and state" deal from the Constitution.

WE all know that this is a Christian country founded by Godly men, but LIEberals are constantly whining about how the government should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" and they think that by publicly saying that you base all of your legislative decisions on the Bible you're somehow going against the Constitution or something.

Sure, it's a load of hogwash, but you'd be surprised how many people actually believe that crap!

Sure, it's a load of hogwash, but you'd be surprised how many people actually believe that crap!

Basing all your legislative decisions on the Bible isn't making a law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . . I mean, what if we ignored the Bible? Murder would be legal, and bestiality, and kiddy rape!
