  • english local elections

Finally England is coming to its senses, and from the results of the local elections its looking like the Labour party may be out of power by next election.

However David Cameron is not a whole lot better, his conservative party is becoming more left wing and raises policies about green issues, which is very unlike the conservative party of old.

Who are we to vote for?

I was unaware that you had elections in Godless Europe. Don't you all still have autocratic kings over there who force you to be mary worshipers?

Since there are no Republicans to vote for (I presume), then the next best thing would be to apply for a Green Card and beg Jesus to allow you to emigrate to His favorite country.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

The Lord seems to imply that Cameron is the natural leader:
2Sa:6:21: And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.

His policies, as foretold seem to be along the right lines too:

Es:2:3: And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them:

Clearly, in this passage which may be taken by some as to Tony Blair’s vision for Britain, Labour is out:
Ec:2:18: Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me.
Ec:2:19: And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.
Ec:2:20: Therefore I went about to cause my heart to despair of all the labour which I took under the sun.

As it is, this post is a little late, but, as above, the Lord’s Will has been done.

I've been very impressed by Nick Eriksen of late.

"To suggest that rape, when conducted without violence, is a serious crime is like suggesting that forcefeeding a woman chocolate cake is a heinous offence. A woman would be more inconvenienced by having her handbag snatched.

O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
