Former Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher has died at 87 following a stroke, her spokesman has said.

Lord Bell said: “It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning.”

Baroness Thatcher was Conservative prime minister from 1979 to 1990.

It is truly the end of an era and a great American man has just died.

Margot Thacher was part of the Reagen administration in the '80s were she ran England and reformed the English economy. By undoing centuries of socialism she turned England into the economic powerhouse the 51st state is today. We can be sure Ronald Reagan, Jerry Farwell and other the saints are welcoming Mr Margot Thacher into Jesus's House in Heaven.

As for Lady-boy Thatcher, I suspect that Lucifer had to order new containment barriers knowing how well that woman would burn. Now I suppose Jesus could find it in his heart to forgive her had she asked but she spent the last twenty years drooling and watching Coronation Street in hopes there would be an episode where she becomes queen.

So yes, in many ways she was like Ronald Reagan only he was married more often and every time to a town mattress.

I thought Mrs. Thatcher was a woman. And English is still a separate country. I think it was the country we declared independence from, in fact.

Here is some sturing words from Margot Thacher, perhaps the greatest American from our 51st state since Churchill, about another Great American; Pinochet, who saved Chile from Communist mass murderers.

I do not know when or how this tragedy will end. But we will fight on for as long as it takes to see Senator Pinochet returned safely to his own country. Chileans can rest assured that, however contemptibly this Labour Government behaves, the British people still believe in loyalty to their friends.

Chile is our oldest friend in South America. Our ties are very close and have been ever since Admiral Cochrane helped free Chile from oppressive Spanish rule. He must be turning in his grave to see Britain now encouraging Spain's arrogant interference in Chilean affairs. Pinochet was this country's staunch, true friend in our time of need when Argentina seized the Falkland Islands. I know - I was Prime Minister at the time. On President Pinochet's express instructions, and at great risk, Chile provided enormously valuable assistance. I cannot reveal the details, but let me mention just one incident.

She relished this individualist feminism and wielded it – coining a new and very transitive verb, handbagging, to describe her evisceration of ill-prepared ministers or clueless interviewers. Perhaps in Toynbee’s defense, Thatcher was not a feminist in the left-liberal sense: she never truly reflected on her pioneering role as a female leader; she never appointed a single other woman to her cabinet over eleven years; she was contemptuous toward identity politics; and the only tears she ever deployed (unlike Hillary Clinton) were as she departed from office, ousted by an internal coup, undefeated in any election she had ever run in as party leader.

That took vision and self-confidence of a quite extraordinary degree. It was infectious. And it made Thatcher and Thatcherism a much more complicated thing than many analyses contain.

I still remember how moved I was when she delicately touched Godly Ronald Reagan's coffin when he went into Jesus' arms.

Their stalwart friendship in the face of the vast majority of naysayers, academics, liberals and the lumpen masses was a truly wonderous thing.
