And a further point people with disabilities are not demons, they for a start are far less twisted than the average 'true christian' and problem have a better understanding of the world learning difficulties or not.

I have a question for the organizers:

I've heard rumors that one sector will be devoted to low-tech hunting -- bows and arrows, snares, bludgeons, the like. I'm told no modern supplies will be allowed, other than a single pocket knife.

Is this true? And are there bonus points for using creative, low-tech traps to capture and/or kill witches?

I've got a few ideas I'd like to try out . . .

Here's a simple trap I built as a demonstration project for members of my church, to deal with sinners fornicating on their land.



This catches them without causing serious damage, but of course only will hold them for a few minutes. It's up to the hunter to move in for the kill quickly.

This trap, built by the US Military, is ideal if you're after a quick, painless kill. After all, the witches have an eternity of torture to look forward to; there's no need for us to torture them to death in advance.



What other ideas do people have for trapping Witches?

Rejoice! I get to participate in my first ever witch hunt! I am so excited! I can't wait to purge the night of those horrendous drunkards, atheists, and gluttonous pigs out there! Is a crossbow alright to use when participating in the witch hunt (more specifically a repeating crossbow)?

Strange, Jambalaya, it appears you are listed as Unsaved Trash. That means that if you arrive during the Witch Hunt, you'd not be a hunter, friend. Your participation would likely be limited to running, screaming, and being dismembered by one of our many True Christian(tm) sportsmen (and women).

I suggest you hold off until 2009, and let the Department of Faith investigate you. Only certified True Christians(tm) and confessed or convicted witches are allowed to participate in the Witch Hunt.

(I understand Talitha's helper, Vayhr, will be taking the role of Bird Dog for her this year. That is, when she shoots a witch down, he'll run after it to ensure the kill, and field-dress it for her.)

I plan on using my Taurus M172. I like the feel of the old pump action carbines. And it doesn't have an easy-mode scope like most newer models, but a classic pan sight. I don't want to make it too easy on myself. Tali is going to use her new specially made colt 45 for this event. It's based around the famed Vampire Gun. She has named it "Witch Doctor".

And, no, I will not be a "Bird Dog". Jenny, did I do something to upset you? I hope things aren't going to be awkward between us now. I don't know why you are being so condescending and snide toward me.

Clarence, you're not yet an approved True Christian(tm). So, you cannot participate as a hunter.

I thought you were aware that all "helpers" (members who assist True Christian(tm) hunters) were being given the title of Bird Dog. Didn't Sister Talitha tell you?

I'm sorry if you thought I was being rude . . . It's a great honor to be able to participate in any capacity, and indicates your continued growth in our Lord and the church!
