I am offended by the Red Cross thinking we should send money to help those who are affected by homer-induced weather patterns. One of my friends texted a $10 donation for some disaster or another and now he is bombarded with pity parties from the Red Cross every now and then. Some kitten runs up a tree: PLEASE! Help the Red Cross provide a safe way down for this kitten! Send $10 NOW!"


Or, it rained today in Seattle (shocker!)! Won't you help provide umbrellas for the homeless? Send $10 NOW!! First of all the only cross I care about is the OLD RUGGED CROSS, stained red by the Precious Blood of Our Savior(R). I know for a fact that the Red Cross organization promotes things like CPR, which encourages perfect strangers to touch one another on the bosom and on the mouth, even if it is a person of the same gender. Isn't it likely, Dear Friends, that by encouraging such behavior, the Red Cross is causing the Lord to pour out His Wrath? I am going to pray about it. Won't you pray with me?

I'm offended by the non-stop its-been-three-days-now coverage of hurricane Irma.

I get it - it's Sunday evening, which means that THERE ARE NO OTHER NEWS WHATSOEVER - because all Godly people are resting and what ungodly people are doing is not worthy of news coverage. (I'm sure even the Mexico earthquake rescuers took a day off, it's Sunday!)

On the other hand, I don't live in Florida, I'm not going to Florida, and I don't care about Florida, so for goodness sake, they could stop the hurricane coverage and report something about cheese in Wisconsin or fishing in Upper Peninsula or a lost kitten somewhere, anywhere. PLEASE!

Hurricanes are soooo boring, they move so slowly it's killing me, it's the most boring movie ever. Even when they involve white straight men standing on a balcony.
