I certainly dislike Conservapedia.com. For a "conservative" site, it certainly does flaunt its lie-beral bias. Just read this, if you can stomach it. Supposed Christian conservatives argue vehemently against including the relevant Bible passages, saying that they don’t need the Bible to make their case, that unnamed “Biblical scholars” say that those passages mean something totally different from what the words on paper say, and that God wants just about the exact opposite of what His Word says He wants. In other words, they say exactly the same things that liberals say about the Bible passages on homosexuality.

One person even calls those passages an “embarrassment” to Christianity. That person must also have ignored what Jesus said about those who are ashamed of His Word:

Luke 9:26: For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father's, and of the holy angels.

I read the conservapaedia exchange on slavery..and was shocked. These hypocrites want only the parts of the Bible that make them feel good - not what God wants!! We can't (and don't) go selecting what parts of the Bible fit in with our lifestyles can we? Its either ALL Gods word...or none of it... not some in-between "Pick'n'mix" religion! If God says 'Jump', I say "how high, Lord?" If god says 'Kill', I say "how many, Lord?" I certainly don't say " umm...well actually 'Lord' I think you might be a little 'out of touch, and I don't think your will REFLECTS CURRENT POPULAR OPINION". When the Lord says 'smite', 'destroy', 'kill', 'rejoice' and 'enslave' I say "thankyou Lord for choosing me to do your will" . Anyone that says any different has Satan as a co-pilot. Praise be to Jesus.

Lilith - Jesus doesnt expect us to account for every wiggly wriggly jiggly little tadpole used in the act of soldier-making, just as you aren't expected to account for any unused eggs . Think of it in this way. Do you expect every bullet issued in the Coalition of the Willing to kill a sandcoon? Well hopefully, yes, but realistically NO. Having excess eggs and millions of extra holy tadpoles is just Gods way of giving us FULLY LOADED MAGAZINES, knowing that, in spite of our best efforts, we can't be expected to get a bullseye every single time. We are after all, only human. So next time you and your husband bathe, pray, and lie down to make soldiers for Jesus, don't be afraid to SQUEEZE YOUR GOOD HUSBANDS TRIGGER UNTIL HIS MAGAZINE IS EMPTY. Have no fear, Jesus will reload you both in due course.
