    Tech Stuff: Who is browsing LBC with a mobile device?

    I see people these days with their faces buried in their iPhones googling this and that and I wondered if any of the members here own smart phones and can you browse this site with it?

    I don't have a smart phone, yet, so I mostly just use my phone to check the time or to make some calls or take pictures of junk that I see.

    For anyone who is browsing this site using a smart phone, how does it work? Is it quick? Would I have to pay extra for that service?

      I often use my jPhone to browse LBC. Browsing it works fine, I wouldn't use it for actually posting things though as the onscreen keyboard is too small for anything but the occasional SMS message to praise Jesus.

                  On occasion I will browse LBC with my smart phone, mainly when my computer that requires a lot of use of its memory, or if I do not have my computer with me.

                  I just wish that there was a mobile version of JesOS™.

                      My church bought me a Droid and it works great. I do a lot of driving and it allows me to keep up with my internet debates against atheists when I'm on the road.
                      Upon request I will cite scripture for all these facts in God's Holy Word.

                          Seth has a Blackberry Pearl (corporate). Personally I hate the thing because I feel like he's at work 24/7, but I'll see if I can get him to post about it for you.

                          Even today is supposed to be a "day off" except they expect him to call in for a teleconference, and he has to contact some customers for next week. Some day off...

                              One thing to keep in mind about smart phones is that pretty soon you probably won't be able to get any unlimited data plans. This isn't exactly a huge concern if you would just be using it to browse these forums or send an email off to somebody, but it is something to think about.

                              If personally wouldn't recommend getting one if you don't think you would be using it enough to justify the roughly $30 a month a data plan goes for, but to each their own.

                                  I haven't bought any of that wireless stuff yet because I haven't determined it's entirely safe.

                                  Who is to say whether it's angels of GOD or evil angels posing as angels of GOD fluttering back and fourth between the phone and those cell towers carrying my private, GODly data?
