    Great books for children

While there are Christian book threads, let's face it, sometimes the kids want a change of pace. Personally, I think a good mystery is beneficial for them. They learn that not everyone is a good Christian.

Here's one I recommend. We have several copies in the church's library:

This book was later retitled "Ten Little Indians". After that, it was retitled "And Then There Were Nuns". Er, "None".

Is there a use for any other books apart for the Holy Bible when it comes to raising your new young generation of Christian soldiers?

This one is about a Poison Mushroom. My uncle Heinrich used to read it to me before he left us to live in Argentina.

Here are two oldies but goldies:

And one that has always a current topic:

              Revelation 22:1:
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

I know better than to click on a pastafarian's link labeled "pornography". I don't want my computer to get the AIDS.

Pornography deals with facts, be they disgusting facts about what women and beasts do behind closed doors, but facts nonetheless.

Nothing on the end of that link to fear but knowledge (Ah I see therein less the problem, knowledge scares you doesn't it BB?) If you had clicked on it you would have found the definition of "pornography":
The depiction of erotic behaviour (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement
The intention of the book is to educate not sexually excite therefore it is not pornographic.

But look at her, she has a short skirt and shows her bellybutton. Is that not pornographic? And the boy asks about CONDOMS! So not only do they teach children to fornicate, but also they are teaching children how to kill babies!

When I was little I only got told easier versions of the Bible, and fairytales for the morals.
