Absolutely!
I've been away for an extremely long time, due to a Christian mission I assigned myself; and recently coming back, I have read many of the new posts by new users in various threads. I am appalled! To even suggest the idea that God is non-existent is preposterous and in all ways blasphemous, and I would like to share my personal opinion on the matter.
1. Is there any proof/evidence of God's existence?
One word, three letters. Y-E-S. Firstly, take a look at this excerpt from Dictionary.com:
If God did not exist, why then, does a dictionary give that definition? Yes, it gives many definitions, but that one in particular is the primary.
Second, ask almost any medical scientist in practice today. Almost, if not all of them will tell you that they have experienced at least some little part of God's miracles/works. Does this mean nothing? Medical scientists, for Christ's sake!
2. If God exists, then why have I not seen Him personally?
Answer: because you have not accepted God as the Almighty Creator, and therefore are blind to his works. It's that simple.
But if that's the case, then isn't God a figment of the imagination? Not remotely. God chooses who sees what. If you don't believe in Him, He doesn't believe in you! The blind man cannot see that which is in front of him.
This brings up another interesting question which has baffled the minds of many a Christian, and has even caused some to denounce Christianity altogether. If I cannot see God's works, then how can I believe? The answer is plain and simple. In order to catch a glimpse of His works, you MUST accept, at minimum, the possibility of the existence of the Supreme Creator. Then, your eyes will be at least half-open, and you will see God's works.
To sum it all up:
Do us all a favor and open your danged eyes!
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
