Don't you think it's wrong to pre-occupy the LORD with petty prayers as to find the whereabouts of your favorite teapot -- While he could be much more busy with saving the children you speak so hatefully about. Eating flies? The flies come to them because the children are riddled with filth. The flies FEED off the children. I don't even know what to say about your behaviour.

Why would the Lord not answer the prayer from Mrs. Rogers to help her find her tea pot. Mrs. Rogers is a True Christian and has done many great things for the Lord. I really do not where you get the idea that you should be the one saying what prayers the Lord should answer or what should be prayed for.

Doesn't this contradict what I quoted from the lady? She says that the people with the highest political and economical influence their prayers are answered first. And people in third world countries' prayers are answered last. That means that if this ma'am did not pray to find her teapot then He could move on to another prayer; eventually he will be able to continue at the Third World. And can people stop warning me please? I'm not trying to break rules but the topics you make here are made for discussion, and I do love the lord.

Tell you what, why don't we look at what the Bible says about eating flies....

Deuteronomy 11
21Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
22Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

Not exactly clear as a fly has 6 legs not 4. Then again, they're always complaining about locust over there, why don't they just eat the locust? That would save their crops and provide them with plenty of protien.

I will try to help you all out first of all to the atheists how in the world can you say God doesn't exist? you say that we were created through evolution and that somehow we came from nothing or big bang. here is my question when you go outside and look around do you really think that somehow through chance everything around you the trees all the little insects to the big animals the food chain and human beings somehow just came about through time? does that make logical sense? that's like someone thousands of years ago seeing a car and saying that it was created magically through time without anyone's interaction which we know that a car cant come from nothing since its really complex so a person or atheist would logically have to say a car was created by humans so in the same way how can one say that human beings which are much more complex than a car were created by noone? let me just say this evolution and big bang theory has never been proven and that is why they are not scientific laws! and as for the Bible being false well just look at all the archaeologists and scientists in the last century that have proven many of the Biblical stories as accurate through their many findings. also being a christian or following any religion is about faith not proof. and anyways when you believe in science you must have faith that everything scientists say is true and that all their findings are accurate and real and that all their experiments are true because you were not their when they made all of their discoveries. I not trying to discredit science but am saying that people who believe in every single scientific discovery must have faith also.

God loves everyone and is able to answer everyone's prayers at the same time you saying that God answers rich peoples prayers over the poor is saying God is not all powerful which is false. and also why would you attack poor people? Jesus Christ loves the poor and its not Africans fault they are poor and to say that they are at fault for starving because they did not eat bugs and insects is really mean and not christian like. how would you like someone attacking you for being poor and then blaming you for starving to death because you chose not to eat misquotes or flies I am sure you would not like that. Also the way you people interpret the Bible is totally wrong. Also Christianity is not about money the apostles were poor and yet they had more faith and did more good then all of you. All because one has money does not mean God cares about him more their are bad rich people and bad poor people.

Yes, that's true. That's why we offer an ex-gay ministry, a free summer camp for unprivileged children, a young ladies at risk ministry and many other good works.

Since works are basis of salvation anyway.

Just a question for you. Why would God answer the prayers of atheist who don't even believe in Him? In that case, God has no reason to listen to them in their selfish time of need. Funny how these people want God to fix their problems isn't it, despire not having the time of day for Him otherwise!

Actually, that is incorrect. God does NOT love everyone and in fact here is proof to the contrary:


Hebrews 12:6 makes this statement: "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth" .

Notice that the object of the love and chastening and scourging is the son whom He receives. The expression "For whom the Lord loveth...makes no sense at all if God loves everyone equally.

Verse 8 is the clincher in that it proves that the statement of verse 6 does not apply universally:

"But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards and not sons."

All of God's sons are chastised and those that do not partake of this chastisement are illegitimate and not sons. Thus we see that both God's love and chastening are reserved for His own, His believers and His followers.

Revelation 3:19 makes a similar statement: "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent."

Once again the phrase "as many" clearly limits the love of God to those who are His own. If He loved everyone, and everywhere equally, this statement would be totally contradictory, which it is not.

But what about the numerous statements of God's love we find in the New Testament epistles?" Well, the best way to answer that is to look at some of them.

Romans 5:8--"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Who are the "us", "we", and "us" of this sentence? Paul is including himself and if you will go back to the introductory portion of Romans, you will find that the epistle is addressed to (Romans 1:7) "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints...."

So once again, God's love is commended toward His own. Not anyone willy nilly.

Ephesians 2:4--"But God who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us."

Same explanation, because the epistle to the Ephesians is addressed to Christians at Ephesus.

1 John 4:9--"In this was manifested the love of God toward us...."

Same explanation.


1 John 4:10--"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

This verse is a double whammy because it also shows exactly for whom Christ died! Jesus died for those who LOVE HIM not those who choose reject Him.

Another whammy is found in Ephesians 5:25 where we read: "Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it ."

Still another whammy is found in Matthew 1:21, where the angel told Joseph, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."

You see, not only does God not love everyone equally, Jesus Christ died for the sins of His elect people and not the whole world, contrary to what you believe!

Jesus Christ loves the poor and its not Africans fault they are poor and to say that they are at fault for starving because they did not eat bugs and insects is really mean and not christian like. how would you like someone attacking you for being poor and then blaming you for starving to death because you chose not to eat misquotes or flies I am sure you would not like that.

Jesus did not love those who rejected Him. Notice he ONLY helped those willing to follow Him.

A perfect example of this is Matthew 11. People of faith in His word, who were repentent of their sins were healed of leperosy and blindness and deafness just to name a few. However, those who did not repent and follow God's word, well that is a completely different story.

Matthew 11:

20Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

21Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

22But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

23And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

24But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.


Less tolerable than God was to Sodom? You DO know what happened to Sodom, don't you? If not, read Genesis 19.


Just as Jesus rejected those who did not accept Him for His word, we too as True Christians must also have a WWJD mentality. We DO have missionaries in these 3rd world countries. Some people do turn to God and realize His love and as such are rewarded. Others however STILL reject God and carry on with their voodoo religions. As such, why do you think God or his followers would continue to help them?

I suppose this is where your issue is. YOU interpret the Bible. You have fashioned God to be a "widdle fwuffy bunny" to suit your own selfish sensibilities. WE however live it AS WRITTEN to the letter. We accept God for who He is, not what we want Him to be. We have unconditional love for Jesus, just as He has for us, his True Christians™ followers. You however, are putting conditions on Him.

I hope that clears things up for you, rinehart. If not, I am more than happy to post all the people Jesus hates as well. Let me know.

This makes her line of thought easy to follow, unlike the walls of unformatted, unpunctuated, uncapitalized gibberish most unsaved trash™ litter this forum with.
