If this isn't a forum for thoughts and concern they why bother making it into a forum? Why didn't you just put down all your beliefs on a website and not let anyone debate them?

These yahoos don't believe in marrying for love. They don't believe that a woman should even get to choose her own spouse. I can't imagine marrying for any reason other than love, and I don't believe that adults who love each other expect to command the other or be required to unfailingly obey commands from the other. The word "obey" was not in the vows my husband and I took. The words "love," "respect," "honor," and "share" figured prominently, however.

And I would love for you to produce a drop of scripture that supports that.
We follow the KJV 1611 Holy Bible here, this is not a forum for your thoughts and concerns.

Re: About Marital Rape.
Did you even read the post you quoted?? The wife is supposed to submit to her husband! If he wants it, he better get it. AMENOriginally posted by christain-goth View PostIt doesn't matter if your married or not, rape is rape
If the woman isn't in the mood for sex, she has every right to say no
Why should a woman have to apologize to her husband for something that's entirely his fault?

It doesn't matter if your married or not, rape is rapeOriginally posted by Jean Poole View PostNow, as we all know, Marital Rape is a very serious topic. There is a victim and a perpetrator. It is a dreadful crime.
When you refuse your husband his marital rights, you are committing a crime, Ladies! You swore to honor and OBEY him! Even if you didn't, you still have to: Ephesians 5:24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. If he asks you to minister to him, what right do you have to refuse? Well, I say there is too much talk of "rights" these days.
What we need is more responsibility. Women need to make themselves responsible for their husband's godly needs. By not doing what you vowed to do, you are abusing your husband, Ladies!
So next time you lie to Baby Jesus and pretend you have a headache, and your husband requires his rights of you, you just think about what a terrible thing you did.
Then apologize to your husband for forcing his hand, and pray to Jesus that he forgive you.

If the woman isn't in the mood for sex, she has every right to say no
Why should a woman have to apologize to her husband for something that's entirely his fault?

What would you prescribe for me to wear? If you were in charge, would you have me wear those disgusting clothes women are required by law to wear in places like Iran?Originally posted by Brother_Percy View PostThere you go... you are finally getting it. Now you know why there are so many rapes on High School girls. And I'd say that in 99% of the cases, it is ALWAYS the girls fault.
I wear Jeans and a T-Shirt quite often. It's comfy and I don't have to mess with going to a special dry cleaners or anything like that. It has nothing to do with trying to show anything off (actually, my favorite pair are actually pretty loose; I have to wear a belt to keep them up since I've lost quite a bit of weight). The t-shirts are hardly form fitting, either; I do have form fitting clothes, but I don't wear them often, unless I have a date coming up.
If you find a six year old Green Day t-shirt with a big mustard stain on it sexually exciting, I have serious worries about you.Originally posted by MarshallAre you coming on to me or one of the other Brothers here?
Maybe one of the Sisters?
You are truly depraved.
And, seriously, that thing is way too huge for me to wear anywhere but bed; It goes down nearly to my knees!

Re: About Marital Rape.
I still don't understand why a wife would say no when her man has been at work all day earning a living and dealing with things she would never dream about having to deal with. She cleans and sews and vacuums and cooks but when he gets home she should be ready to help him wind down from his tough day. Part of that is her willingness to service him.

You would be a concubine , or slut , or some other kind of unpaid , llive in whore.
I am a wife - legally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
If one spouse is in the mood and the other isn't, I assume means in regard to the husband's requirements. Obviously , there is only one spousal state of import , the husband's.
Sometimes the woman is in the mood and the man isn't; sometimes it's the other way round.
Any woman who accepts and enjoys the benefits, security , provisions, and protection that marriage offers , is patently obliged to proffer the services she is capable of.. Otherwise she would be leeching.
Is that really how you see women ?
As exploitative parasites devoid of respectable honour and any valid sense of due reciprocity.
We both have paying jobs and both contribute to keeping the bills paid, groceries bought, and house kept up. We each have our own car; he paid for his and I paid for mine before we were married. The deed to the house we live in is in my name, as I bought it before we married. Neither of us OWES the other sex as payment for other services rendered, and we don't see sex as a form of currency.
You seem to be making a strong case to say a man should breed the woman how ever many times he sees fit, then get rid of her before she becomes a pointlesss burden , an expensive gadget that doesn't even do its job...
