Have you yourselves read the bible? no really. i wouldn't seem so. i know and have argued with people assigned to the vatican (i know that doesn't count for much here (although he did absolutely rock a fundamentalist's world in a debate prior to that) though it's still relevant) and come out clean and vindicated time and again.

judge not. end of story. sure there are countless things in the bible that go against that, but that IS how the bible operates. it's a series of trap doors. you pick the position that suits you best and stick with it. you know i'm starting to like you, as you sem the most level headed here. now remember, king james changed WHAT in the bible? anyone? he EDITED THINGS OUT. not to mention it has been translated countless times prior to that. the original script may have been the word of god if we're all LUCKY. but people translate differently. how should any of you believe a translator over god? anyone here well versed in arabic spelled aramaic? (for the uneducated, you TYPE in arabic letters, and jesus spoke aramaic, not english)

we are also commanded to judge not....lest ye be judged. in all definitons of this passage, it is understood that this is saying "don't overstep your bounds into jesus' domain over the fate of souls, or face it as a strike against you in the afterlife". and as ar as not judging the appearance of things , isn't this a thread about goths? that is merely an appearance, not a statement.

No, it is a warning against hypocrisy. It is warning us not to judge others if we are not willing to be judged ourselves. But I am perfectly willing to be judged by God, and so the prospect of being judged holds no fear for me.
