The only thing I don't like about Catholicism is that some Catholics disapprove of contraception. Some people just don't want to birth children ('vermin' as my friend calls them)

Prehaps this has already been admitted, but I would like to point at the flaws in your ideas.

1-Frequently wears black clothing. And? I know people who frequently wear red or blue. A colour is not more the a colour.

2-Wears band and/or rock t-shirts. Actually thats not goth. That's what we call punks or Metal heads

3-Wears excessive black eye makeup, lipstick or nailpolish. Actually I'm wearin blue nail polish, and I'm parcial to a bit of red lipstick.

4-Wears any odd, silver jewelry or symbols. Some of these include:
reversed crosses, pentagrams, pentacles, ankhs or various other
Satanic worshipping symbols. I don't know where to start.. Ankhs are egyptian not satanic, and were converted to a christian symbol, so is the pentagram. Althought it devived from paganism, the christians adopted it.

5-Shows an interest in piercings or tattoos. Thats not strictly limited to goths.

6-Listens to gothic or any other anti-social genres of music.
(Marilyn Manson claims to be the anti-Christ, and publicly speaks against
the Lord. Please discard any such albums IMMEDIATELY.) Marilyn Manson is a idiot. I condem him, he's not the antichrist, he's some whiny arsed boy who says the same old dribbly over and over again.

7-Associates with other people that dress, act or speak
eccentrically. How does one speak eccentrically?

8-Shows a declining interest in wholesome activities, such as: the
Bible, prayer, church or sports. This is called teenagers

9-Shows an increasing interest in death, vampires, magic, the occult,
witchcraft or anything else that involves Satan. The occult fasciantes people because it is something undiscovered yet. You can't hate a persons curiosity. Besides 50% of goths tend to be christian.

10-Takes drugs. Not limited to Goths

11-Drinks alcohol. Again not limited to Goths

12-Is suicidal and/or depressed. AKA Teenagers

13-Cuts, burns or partakes in any other method of self-mutilation.
(This is a Satanic ritual that uses pain to detract from the light of God
and His love. Please seek immediate attention for this at your local
mental health center.) It is not that. It is actually linked with depression and should be taken very seriously. Oh and I believe the word is CENTRE.

14-Complains of boredom. Teenagers

15-Sleeps too excessively or too little. So whats the right amount?

16-Is excessively awake during the night.Thats called insomnia

17-Dislikes sunlight or any other form of light. (This pertains to
vampires promoting the idea that His light is of no use.) Or maybe they don't want to be orange

18-Demands an unusual amount of privacy.Whats unusal?

19-Spends large amounts of time alone. teenagers

20-Requests time alone and quietness. (This is so that your child
may speak to evil sprits through meditation.)No no and NO

21-Insists on spending time with friends while unaccompanied by an
adult.Ahem.. This is teenagers


22-Disregards authority figures; teachers, priests, nuns and elders
are but a few examples of this.Teenagers..

23-Misbehaves at school.Doesn't make them goths, statisticaly goths are more well behaved and have a higher IQ

24-Misbehaves at home. Don't blame Goths, Blame parents

25-Eats goth-related foods. Count Dracula cereal is an example of
this.I have never in my life seen this

26-Drinks blood or expresses an interest in drinking blood. (Vampires
believe this is how to attain Satan. This act is very dangerous and
should be stopped immediately.) Drinking blood can be a fetish.

27-Watches cable television or any other corrupted media sources.
(Ask your local church for proper programs that your child may watch.) TV makes goths? I thought old english books made goths?

28-Plays videos games that contains violence or are of a role-playing
nature.LAME

29-Uses the internet excessively and frequently makes time for the
computer. Hey, we are the internet generation, don't just blame us goths

30-Makes Satanic symbols and/or violently shakes head to music. Do I need to explain this one? Okay Dio ( a metal/rockstar) Had a christian grandmother who would protect herself against the evil eye by using the devil horn sign ( as you call it) Thus Dio used it on stage and it catched on. It's more of a salute to the musicion and has no satanic conetations.

31-Dances to music in a provocative or sexual manner. Goth's don't dance

32-Expresses an interest in sex. Ahem.. teenagers

33-Masturbates. teenagers

34-Is homosexual and/or bisexual. not all goths are bi or gay!

35-Pursues dangerous cult religions. Such include: Satanism,
Scientology, Philosophy, Paganism, Wicca, Hinduism and Buddhism. All religions are just large cults

36-Wears pins, stickers or anything else that contains these various
phrases: "I'm so gothic, I'm dead", "woe is me", "I'm a goth". LMAO that is prehaps the worst thing. Goths would never wear such trash

37-Claims to be a goth. ... ok you got me there..

Right I'm now going down to my local Health CENTRE to be laughed at because I have a serious condition. I'm so gothic..

Join you? How can I do such a thing? If you teach your children love and give the world kindness then I implore you to continue. But, I could never be.. In truth, I'm a true oceansoul. Perfectly beautiful and terribly tragic. But I'm also one of the nicest people you could ever find. But .. no, i never really gave much thought to christainity, always been a bit of a pagan.
