This issue seems to be near and dear to you. I suppose you could still wipe your backside with your left hand. That seems a good use for it.

I thought I was being supportive.

The thing is, some of us have left handed feelings in the past. That is just Satan's way of leading us into temptation if you want to be on Jesus' right hand, come the sound of the trumpet.
It is important to talk to your pastor and get counseling for your confusion. I recommend an ex-left handed program that Dr. Niles runs.

Remember, you weren't born this way. Your sin led you into it. Someone perhaps did something to you in your childhood or your mother didn't smack your hand if you reached with the wrong one?

So I was curiously looking up "fun facts about lefties" on google (being that I am one), I came across this forum and found nothing but hatred.
To any atheists posting and directly attacking one's faith, I don't applaud that.
To someone of faith and degrading someone as a person because of which hand they have learned to use best in their years of living? That is unacceptable.

My grandparents admittedly attempted to force me to use my right hand when I was a kid (they are extremely faith oriented), but they had the courtesy to let me be and use the hand which has come to suit my needs best.
When you disclaim scientific theories that state left handedness runs through genes, one can just as easily disclaim your "facts" about what was randomly written in a book by unknown authors.
The fact is that absolutely none of you were here during Jesus' reign on earth, and your beliefs are strictly based upon a book that was compiled a long while ago with no known author.
My point being that I'm a 22 year old going to college, I respect my family and friends how they come, and people have claimed for me to be one of the kindest people they know, yet I come across this and am automatically a sinner and going to hell even if I could possibly be a kinder, more generous individual compared to a "firm believer". What gives you the right to judge someone based on the hand they use?

Having some personal morals wouldn't be a bad thing to have.
I have absolutely no intentions of "flaming" nor disgracing the christian community, for I am a born and raised Catholic myself, but I certainly will speak my mind.
In the meantime, would you be so kind as to emphasize what your reaction would be if you caught someone writing with their left hand in your workplace while I introduce myself in the given threat? That'd be great.

You're mistaken. What you found is a church community dedicated to proclaiming and preaching the very Word of God, without condition, without reservation, without adding to or taking away anything that does't fit the "political correct" agenda so popular in today's world.

You see, man does not have the authority to change the will of God on any subject. Most other churches will do so for the sake of keeping their pews warm on Sunday morning. At Landover Baptist Church, however, we heed the severe warnings in several places in the Bible concerning any changes that we try to make to God's word. If we pervert the Gospel by changing it, the LORD promises we will be accursed.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

How much stronger warnings could God give to those who try to make changes to His will, such as trying to protect the sin of left handedness by calling it "genetic"? God has said plainly that it is necessary to fear and obey (Ecclesiastes 12:13), not rationalize what feels good.

Do you still see this as hate? I love Jesus so much I'd be willing to lay down the lives of my children, exactly like Abraham (Genesis 22:1-2), if the LORD but called on me to prove my devotion and obedience. That's not hate, dear, that's love!

Listen up Pape. Just because you have spent your life on your knees for some kiddie fiddling priest don't for one minute think you have any rights here in God's own forum.

If I caught anyone using thier left hand in my workplace I would immediately dismiss them for breach of contract.

I have come across nothing but nonsense with regards to how you choose to talk towards me. Simply because someone has a different view on something than you, it clearly deems me a seed of Satan. Absolutely any realistic person and anyone of my family would be utterly ashamed of me if I even thought it right to put down another for being different, you take it way beyond and live your life by a book that keeps your mind merely under the control of words portrayed by unknown sources. Regardless of what you choose to tell me, being so called "true children of God" you are an awful inspiration of what being a decent human is capable of. Jus' saying.
I will live my life by doing good deeds and outweigh anything you possibly could do, I will assure you that.
